Objective:Understand the occupational protection awareness and actual protection status of Jiangxi emergency medical service system for first-aid-related workers, and statistically analyze the survey results to provide a theoretical basis for proposing targeted interventions. Methods:Through the retrieval of relevant domestic and foreign documents and self-made questionnaires, questionnaires were conducted on personnel engaged in emergency-related work such as 120 emergency centers, emergency departments in hospitals, intensive care units, and community medical institutions in some areas of Jiangxi Province.Occupational protection was provided after data collection.Cognitive situation and actual protection status are analyzed.Results:(1)In the emergency medical service system in Jiangxi Province,75% of the health organizations are responsible for post-occupational guidance, treatment, monitoring, and follow-up work by the Infectious Diseases Management Section;the overall situation of health organization and protection training is generally good, and regular organizational trainers account for 72.22 %;The respondent thinks that 32.36% of the health institutions pay attention to occupational protection work.(2)59.59% of first-aid-related workers think that they do not have complete protection knowledge,77.54% cannot completely answer all occupational hazards at work,65.41% do not understand all categories of medical protective equipment, and chemical occupational exposure The lowest correct answer rate was for all occupational exposure types, and the average correct rate of occupational exposure protection knowledge was highest in tertiary hospitals(63.14%)and lowest in 120 emergency centers(35.29%).The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)The results of multi-factor non-conditional logistic regression showed that the type of work, education, and types of health institutions involved in first aid workers were all factors influencing the cognition of occupational protection. The influencing factors of occupational protection behaviors were the types of health institutions.(4)The rate of Hepatitis B vaccination coverage for emergency-care workers was 84.21%(896 patients),and 88.72%(944 patients)were concerned about the presence of pathogenic microorganisms before handling patientsConclusion:(1)The occupational protection cognition of Jiangxi emergency medical service system for first-aid-related workers is not optimistic. The implementation of occupational protection behaviors is relatively good. There is a detachment between cognition and behavior of occupational protection.(2)The average correct rate of exposure knowledge for various types of occupational exposure is relatively low,and chemical occupational exposure is relatively low.In the course of strengthening occupational protection knowledge training, emphasis should be placed on the training of chemical occupational exposure related protection knowledge.(3)The types of work, educational qualifications, and type of health institutions related to first aid workers are all influencing factors affecting the cognition of occupational protection. The influencing factors of occupational protection behaviors are the types of health institutions.(4)The health institutions surveyed have attached insufficient importance to the occupational protection of staff engaged in first aid.The supervision is not in place, and personal protective equipment and facilities are not adequately equipped.
