The Clinical Study About Reinforcing Spleen And Kidney Herbal Paste’s Influence On Blood Pressure And Quality Of Life In Hypertension Patients

Objective:To observe the effect of Reinforcing spleen and kidney herbal paste on blood pressure,symptom scores and quality of life in patients with hypertension.At the same time,we aim to explore the recent and long-term clinical efficacy of Reinforcing spleen and kidney herbal paste for hypertension patients.Methods:In this experiment,the self-control design is adopted.From 24th October to 30th December,2016 in the Department of Cardiology,Suzhou traditional Chinese medicine hospital,57 patients with hypertension who met the inclusion criteria were treated with Reinforcing spleen and kidney herbal paste.The course of treatment is 12 weeks.The changes of blood pressure,symptom score and SF-36 quality of life scale scores were observed at outpatient follow-up visits 1 month,3 months and 6 months after the start of treatment.The results were compared with those before herbal paste treatment.Results:(1)After 1 month,3 months with treatment of Reinforcing spleen and kidney herbal paste,The systolic pressure of the hypertension patients was reduced(P<0.05),There was no significant difference in the systolic blood pressure between the 1 months after the beginning of treatment and before treatment(P>0.05).Diastolic blood pressure of hypertensive patients in 1 month,3 months and 6 months after the start of the treatment with Reinforcing spleen and kidney herbal paste were decreased compared with that before treatment(P<0.05).(2)The total score of SF-36,PF,RP,BP,GH and VT in the patients with hypertension after 1 month of treatment began to increase(P<0.05).The total score of the quality of life of the patients with hypertension and the scores of each item in 3 months and 6 months after the treatment were higher than those before the treatment(P<0.05).(3)The symptoms score of knee soft,chest tightness and dry mouth symptoms began to decline from 1 month after the Reinforcing spleen and kidney herbal paste treatment(P<0.05).After 3 months and 6 months of treatment,the symptoms of vertigo,waist acid,knee soft,dysphoria in chestpalms-soles,chest tightness,limb cold,dry mouth,constipation,palpitation,insomnia,tinnitus,forgetfulness,poor appetite,shortness of breath and frequency of night urine frequency were all decreased(P<0.05).(4)The total effective rate was 84.2%1 month after the start of the treatment.The total effective rate 3 months after the start of the treatment was 91.2%,and 6 months after the start of the treatment was 93.0%.There was no statistically significant difference in clinical efficacy 1 month,3 months and 6 months after the start of treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)The Reinforcing spleen and kidney herbal paste can reduce the systolic and diastolic blood pressure of hypertension patients without the side effect of raising blood pressure.(2)The Reinforcing spleen and kidney herbal paste has good effect on improving the common clinical symptoms of hypertension patients.(3)The Reinforcing spleen and kidney herbal paste can improve the quality of life of patients with hypertension.(4)The Reinforcing spleen and kidney herbal paste has a long-term clinical effect on patients with hypertension.
