Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Myasthenia Gravis With Reinforcing Spleen And Nourishing Kidney

Objective:Through observe the clinical effect of the treatment of myasthenia gravis with reinforcing spleen and nourishing kidney, to provide more dialectical thinking for the treatment of myasthenia gravis.Methods:The study included a total of 66 cases accorded with the standard of myasthenia gravis (type I, type Ⅱa,type Ⅱb), and in accordance with the proportion of 1:1 were divided into treatment group and control group (n= 33).Both of control group and treatment group taking Pyridostigmine Bromide tablets, starting at a dose of 60mg, three times a day.In addition,the treatment group was given traditional Chinese medicine formula with the dosage of 150ml,three times a day. The treatment course of two groups was 6 months.The QMG score,Busch quality of life score,TCM symptoms,positive rates of RNS and the withdrawal of Pyridostigmine Bromide were recorded before and in months 3,6 for safety evaluation of this method.Results.1.Basic data:In this study,66 patients were enrolled.5 cases were exfoliated, which accounted for 7.6% of all patients, resulted from asthma attacking, bad compliance and insufficient information. Therefore,a total of 61 patients (treatment group 31) completed in fact.There was no significant difference in gender, age and disease degree between the two groups(p>0.05).Before treatment, there was no significant difference between the two groups of QMG score, quality of life evaluation, RNS positive rate and TCM syndrome score (p> 0.05), which showed that the data of the two groups were comparable.2.Efficacy analysis:The clinical efficacy of western medicine and TCM were both significant differences(p<0.05) in the treatment group comparing with the control group after treatment.3.RNS results:Before and after treatment,there were no statistical significance in positive rates of RNS in two groups(p>0.05),but significant differences were found comparing with before(p<0.05).4.Busch quality of life evaluation:After treatment, the score of physical function, role function, cognitive function, emotional function, social function,and six vitality were decreased. And significant differences(p<0.05) were found in physical function, emotional function and six vitality comparing with the control group.The improvement of a global quality-of-life were significant differences comparing with the control group(p< 0.05).5.The rate of withdrawal of treatment group(16.1%) was higher than the control group(3.3%),but there was no significance between each other(p>0.05).6.In control group, there were 4 cases of diarrhea, but the treatment group did not appear adverse reactionsConclusion:The combination of reinforcing spleen and kidney not only can improve symptoms of myasthenia gravis and TCM,reduce the positive rates of RNS,but also can improve the quality of life,which is an effective and safe treatment method.
