People are constantly pursuing happiness.While science technology and economy is progressing,the happiness everyone concerned has entered the field of scientific research.As an important and special profession of human,the teachers’ occupational well-being is not just about their personal happiness,but also more influence on the next generation of happiness.So it will have an important significance of focusing on teachers’ occupational happiness.This paper mainly discuss the status of private primary school teachers’ occupational happiness.And according to the results and the related theory,we carry out the group counseling on the teachers with low happiness,to make them happier.This study is divided into two parts.The first explores the present situation of private primary school teachers’ occupational well-being in JingDeZhen and research the relationship of the occupational well-being and related influence-factors as occupational stress and professional identity.The first experiment makes a basis for the second experiment.In the second,we draws up a group counseling program according to the result of the first experiment and the relates theory and carry out it on the teachers with low happiness.This paper’s conclusions are:1.The occupational well-being of private primary teachers in JingDeZhen scores above average.2.Numbers of occupational well-being in the three dimensions by age,gender and professional title is statistically significant;It is no significant difference in the comparison with education background,teaching discipline and the work seniority as a teacher in charge.3.The occupational stress,all six dimensions and private primary school teachers’ occupational well-being are high correlation.Show higher levels of occupational stress,occupational well-being level lower numbers.4.The occupational identity,all four dimensions and private primary school teachers’ occupational well-being are high correlation.Show higher levels of occupational identity,occupational well-beinglevel higher numbers.5.This intervention is to improve the occupational well-being from two aspects of the occupational stress and occupational identity.It comes out that the mean before and after the intervention is significantly different.This study proves that the specified group counseling is effective.
