A Report Of Interpreting At The Chinese Academy Of Sciences And Mianyang Hi-tech Cooperation Fair

The interpreting at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Mianyang Hi-tech Cooperation Fair is a typical scientific and technological interpreting practice.Adequate preparation plays a vital role to the success of those practices.However,due to the pre-agnostic feature of interpreting,interpreters would still encounter problems of all kinds even with sufficient preparation.In this report,the author firstly will present the whole working process with task,preparation and process description in the project description chapter.Then,this report will use cases to conclude the problems met in this interpreting practice in the field of science and technology,which respectively are number interpreting mistakes and the appearance of predictable information and illogical information with corresponding processing strategies.With project assessment and reflection in the end,this report aims to be as future references of practices of its kind.
