The Relationships Among Parenting Style,Resilience And Self-disclosure Of Junior High School Students

In order to explore the relationships among parenting style,resilience and self-disclosure,we selected 750 samples randomly.By using the Chinese version of EMBU,RSCA and "the adolescent self-disclosure with peers questionnaire",The study analyzed the basic features of parenting style,resilience and self-disclosure of junior high school students,then explored the relationships among parenting style,resilience and self-disclosure of junior high school students.On the basis,the study explored the mediating effect of resilience between parenting style and self-disclosure of junior high school students.And the results can be useful for improving the level of resilience and mental health of junior high school students.The primary findings are as follows:1.The factor of mother’s over-interference in parenting style is the only one that has gender difference significant statistically;but the differences in three other demographic variables of some factors in parenting style are statically significant.The factor of help-seeking in resilience is the only one that has urban-rural difference significant statically;but the differences in three other demographic variables of some factors in resilience are statically significant;the general level of resilience only has statically significant difference between only child and non-only child.The differences in gender and urban-rural of hobbies are statistically significant,and the difference between only child and non-only child hobbies is also statistically significant;the factor of close friendship only has statically significant difference in gender;the differences in grade of academic performance,experiences in school,attitudes,physical growth,parenthood,close relationship and the general level of self-disclosure are all statistically significant.2.It is indicated that resilience positively correlated with some factors of parenting style significantly,and negatively correlated with some factors of parenting style significantly.The general level self-disclosure are related to all factors of parenting style positively and significantly,but the factor of preference.Some factors of resilience and the general level of resilience are all related to the general level of self-disclosure positively and significantly,other factors of resilience are related to the general level of self-disclosure negatively and significantly.3.The results showed that father’s punishment,over-inference,rejection and over-protection can predict self-disclosure of junior high school students positively,and the partial mediating effects of resilience between some factors of father’s rearing style and self-disclosure of junior high school students are statistically significant.The results also showed that father’s punishment,over-inference and rejection can predict self-disclosure of junior high students positively,and the partial mediating effects of resilience between some factors of mother’s rearing style and self-disclosure of junior school high students are statistically significant.
