| According to art critic Clement Greenberg from United States,the characteristic of painting is "planarity",he thought the closed shape of painting is a kind of qualification or specification.This paper mainly expounds the author’s understanding and application of the space of graphic painting.As a kind of visual art,painting exists in two-dimensional way.On the basis of the development of painting,the performance of space of painting has always been the question that the artist has always explored.The original paining,European medieval painting and western modern painting have the characteristic of planarity.These works have a common characteristic is the artist does not copy nature,but rather to refine by things in three-dimensional space is compressed to reconstruct space.Reframe the picture in a new form,this is "graphic painting".The planarity painting of primitive society had been developed to the "positive law" of ancient Egypt,"light and shade modelling method" and "focus perspective" of ancient Greek and Roman,then they had been developed to the representation of three-dimensional space of Renaissance,it had been developed to the western modern painting,it has been developing to the planarity,this proves that planar painting is a phenomenon of history of art.Especially in the rapid development of today,photography technology,computer technology has been able to fully simulate the real,the purpose of painting is not to reproduce object and space.Planarity is an important feature of painting,and it makes sense to study it.There are five parts in the paper,from the development stage of the space of painting to illustrate the spatial expression and the composition of planar painting.Finally,the author expounds the idea of creation and the aesthetic demand of the planarity.This paper expounds the relationship between emotional expression and the choice of the subject,the choice ofadjustment,the black and white grey treatment,the technique and the choice of the texture. |
