With the rapid development of Internet, the function of mobile phone is becoming more and more powerful, and the use of mobile phone by high school students is more and more. The phenomenon of cell phone dependence has emerged. The problem of mobile phone dependence has become the focus of attention of domestic and foreign scholars. The factors affecting mobile phone dependence at home and abroad are mainly concerned with gender, loneliness, introversion, security, emotion, and self-esteem.Through reading and researching relevant literature,it is found that loneliness,self-esteem,and sense of security have a certain degree of dependence on mobile phones.Relationships, and a certain degree of prediction of dependence on mobile phones, this study aims to understand the impact of loneliness,self-esteem,and sense of security on high school students’mobile phone dependence, and to explain the internal mechanism of high school students’mobile phone dependence, targeted development for high school students.Mental health education provides a useful reference. In this study, stratified random whole sampling method was used. The subjects were from a middle school in Xingtai City,Hebei Province. They were sampled from Grade one to Grade three. Two classes were randomly selected from each grade,and615 questionnaires were distributed. The mobile phone addiction research tool selection index scale(Mobile Phone Addiction Index,MPAI),Loneliness Scale(Loneliness,Scale,UCLA),Self esteem Scale(Self-esteem Scale,SES),Security Questionnaire(Security Questionnaire,SQ),to explore the mediating effect of self-esteem and sense of security between loneliness and mobile phone dependence, explains the intrinsic mechanism of the loneliness of mobile phone dependence. The results are as follows:(1)In the Mobile phone Addiction Index scale, the sex difference in the out-of-control dimension of mobile phone dependence was extremely significant, and the difference of female students in this dimension was higher than that in boys(F(2,417)=0.448,P<0.001).The average number of female students was higher than that of boys(F(2,417)=1.696,0.01<P<0.05).There were significant gender differences in mobile phone dependence, and girls’mobile phone dependence was higher than that of boys(F(2,417)=1.434,P=0.053).In the demographic variables of humanities and science, the female students’mobile phone dependence was higher than that of boys. The cell phone dependence and its abstinence dimension also showed that the students of liberal arts were significantly higher than those of science students(F(2,417)=0.038,0.01<P<0.05;F(2,417)=1.983,0.01<P<0.05),and the differences of cell phone dependence and their four dimensions were not significant in the only child and hukou(P>0.05).(2)The difference of high school students’self-esteem is extremely significant, and the difference of male students’self-esteem is higher than that of girls’,and the self-esteem of senior high school students is higher than that of arts students. The self-esteem level of science students is higher than that of arts students.(F(2,417)=0.073,P<0.001;F(2,417)=0.059,0.01<P<0.05).(3)This study shows that there are significant gender differences in the sense of safety and interpersonal security. The average number of boys is higher than that of girls(F(2,417)=0.930,0.01<P<0.05),but there is no significant difference in other demographic variables.(P>0.05).(4)There was no significant difference in loneliness among the population variables studied(P>0.05).(5)The higher the loneliness, the higher the loneliness, the lower the self-esteem level, the lower the mobile phone dependence, the higher the self-esteem level, the lower the mobile phone dependence. The higher the sense of loneliness, the lower the sense of security;the higher the sense of security, the lower the cell phone dependence;the higher the level of self-esteem,the higher the sense of security.(6)Security plays an intermediary role in the effect of loneliness on mobile phone dependence.(7)Self-esteem does not play a direct intermediary role in the influence of loneliness on mobile phone dependence, but it forms the effect of loneliness,self-esteem,security and mobile phone dependence by influencing the sense of security between loneliness and mobile phone dependence.
