Research On The Role Conflict And Role Adjustment Of Representatives From The Perspective Of Social Role Theory

Representatives,as members of the People's Congress of China,are the expressers of the will and the defenders of the interests of the people,which have the high political status in the state system.This paper,taking the social role theory as the research perspective to carry on the overall analysis to the role of representatives,mainly expounds from three parts:The first part firstly combs the theory of representative and the theory of social role and then couples them to analyze the role attribution,role right,role obligation,role type and role function of representatives.From the text of the law,the representative is essentially a political position with the characteristics of subjective,representative,responsible and political nature;from the role attribution,we can comprehend the complex connotation of representatives from the three modes:mandatory delegation model,independent representative model and centralized representative model;from the the role right and role obligation,the representatives have "seven rights and seven responsibilities";from the role type,we can understand the diversity of roles from the expected role,understanding role and practice role;from role function,representatives have the functions of participating in the administration and discussion of state affairs,supervision by law,bridges and bonds and exemplary leaders.The second part is the analysis of the conflict forms and conflict reasons of the representative role.Representatives in the role-playing,often fall into the three conflicts:extra-role conflict,intra-role conflict and inter-role conflict,which is essentially the conflict of public interests and private interests,the overall interests and local interests.These conflict reasons come from three aspects:society,others and individuals.The third part puts forward the role adjustment aiming at role conflict:by role shaping to improve political quality,moral quality,professional quality,physical quality and psychological quality of representatives from the individual dimension;by establishing role norms,strengthening role consciousness,organizing role learning,proceeding to role supervision and exploring role professionalism from the social dimension.
