Ordinary high school education oriented to the public is the basic education which is linked to the nine-year compulsory education.Different from the nine-year compulsory education,the high school education is with a clear selection of nature.As we all know,Chinese course is the unity of instrumentality and humanity.As the main dependence of teaching,Chinese teaching material should give full play to the basic function of teaching guidance and implementation of the basic characteristics of Chinese course.But in the modern teaching process,teachers pay more attention to humanity and ignore instrumentality.Languages carrying the national culture,is also the foundation of learning the mother tongue.As the basic knowledge,language in the teaching materials and teaching process has not been given full attention.This paper mainly uses the method of data statistics and comparative research to discuss the arrangement of the knowledge of modern Chinese language on the aspects of layout and content.It finds that the annotations in the reading appreciation area has the characteristics of static,pertinence and conciseness,there are also some notes that could not closely contacting the context of the situation.The seminars and practice are based on the language activities to achieve the transformation of knowledge to ability and it has the characteristics of the dynamic.However,there are still some problems like single types of subject and the language form,the linguistic meaning of the sentence analysis with insufficient guidance.And the combing inquiry area is systematic,practical,exploratory,inherited and comprehensive,but it also has the problem:the depth of the special subject is not enough,the relevant language specification standard is insufficient to carry out,part of the special subject exercises repeat and cumbersome,and related special subjects are uneven arranged.Focusing on the insufficiency of above area,and based on the whole set of teaching materials,the paper advices authors of the textbook should consider the cognitive level of high school students firstly.Secondly they should respect the rule of modern Chinese language ability training.What's more,it is also important to strengthen the declarative knowledge and procedural knowledge in the teaching materials,and pay more attention to the inherent link between the various sections of the textbooks.Finally we can learn from the elective textbooks?language application?to optimize the relevant content.
