Zinc is an important nonferrous metals in the life.As one of the strategic resources in China,zinc plays an irreplaceable role in the process of national economic construction.Zinc and lead resource reserves are abundant in our country,and China is one of the countries with the largest reserves of lead and zinc in the world.However,many polymetallic deposits contain marmatite in different degrees,and widely distributed in China.Therefore,marmatite has become an important resources of zinc.In the face of the ever-decreasing zinc resources,carrying out the study on comprehensive utilization of marmatite resources have great significance to make up the depletion of zinc resources and improve the comprehensive utilization ratio of resources.In this paper,polymetallic marmatite ore from Dulong was taken as the object of study,carried out detailed process mineralogy by chemical multi-element analysis,microscope observation,energy spectrum analysis of mono-mineral chemical components,MLA automated quantitative surveying technique.On this basis,the beneficiation test of ore was conducted.Through floatability differences and separating performance under different reagent system and conditions,so as to determine the most economic and reasonable comprehensive recycling technology solutions of marmatite and provide important technical theory reference and guidance for reasonable development of marmatite resources.The results of energy spectrum analysis of sphalerite chemical components show that:the iron content of the sphalerite was 12.04%,which is marmatite.The results of the chemical element analysis of the ore show that the zinc have high content,which is 4.47%.The zinc in the ore is mainly in the form of zinc sulfide,the oxidation rate is very low,the occupancy rate is as high as 95.97%in the form of zinc sulfide.The main minerals of ore have smaller crystal size and the part of-0.16+0.04mm are more than half.As can be seen from the SEM image,sphalerite contains fine-grained chalcopyrite,natural bismuth and other minerals,and sphalerite and pyrrhotite,chalcopyrite was close symbiosis.The influence of different dosage of pH regulating agent,inhibitors,collector and activator were studied by the flotation test of the ore.The optimum flotation reagent system of marmatite was determined as follows:600g/t zinc sulfate and 600g/t sodium sulfite as inhibitors of marmatite,30g/t ethyl xanthate as collector of chalcopyrite,160g/t XYS-1 as activator of marmatite,140g/t butyl xanthate as collector of marmatite.By the process of one roughing,two scavenging and one cleaning operations,a zinc concentrate with grade of 48.80%and recovery of 90.30%was obtained.This paper is based on the process of mineralogy,in combination with ore flotation test.From two aspects:theory and practical,a technical route for the efficient recovery of sphalerite has been developed.The process mineralogy and flotation tests are mutually validated so that make flotation technology of the marmatite more feasible,which have great significance to the development and utilization of marmatite resources in China.
