Objective:Through clinical comparative observation and study to observe clinical efficacy of surgical treatments like Tissue-selecting Therapy stapler (TST) and Ruiyun Procedure for Hemorrhoids (RPH) on hemorrhagic internal hemorrhoids so as to justify the clinical surgical options.Methods:60 inpatients with StageⅡ-Ⅳ hemorrhoidal diseases characterized by hemorrhage were enrolled and randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases for each group. Under continuous epidural-anaesthesia,30 cases within treatment group underwent TST procedure while 30 cases within control group underwent RPH procedure. Comparison of clinical efficacy of the two surgical treatments on hemorrhagic internal hemorrhoids was made by observing intraoperative hemorrhage, secondary hemorrhage and postoperative hemorrhage within 6 months of patients within two groups. Statistical software SPSS 19.0 was used for statistical analysis of the results, with two-sided test at the level of a=0.05.Result:Postoperative hemorrhage intraoperative hemorrhage and within 1-14 days of both groups showed statistical difference (P<0.05), while postoperative hemorrhage at 6 month showed no statistical difference (P>0.05).Conclusion:Both surgical treatments are effective on hemorrhagic internal hemorrhoids with simple operation, few postoperative complications, fast recovery rate, excellent efficacy and high patient satisfaction. Since Tissue-selecting Therapy stapler can provide functions of cut-off, debulking and suspension and anastomosis while resection, TST procedure is superior to RPH procedure in consideration of postoperative secondary hemorrhage.
