| The gel of compound Lithospermum erythrorhizon is composed of Lithospermum erythrorhizon,Phellodendron amurense,Angelica sinensis and Sophora flavescens.It has the function of alleviating fever and eliminating dampness,cooling blood and activating blood circulation,dispelling wind and eliminating dampness,mainly for the treatment of skin eczema,skin itch,wet poison ulcers.In this experiment,the optimum extraction conditions of Lithospermum erythrorhizon were studied by orthogonal experiment.we selected shikonin as indicated ingredients.In this research,Lithospermum erythrorhizon was identified by thin layer chromatography(TLC).And we used high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)to determine the content of shikonin.We established a method of analysis of shikonin,and the methodology was studied.Then we indicated ingredients of other three traditional Chinese medicine were respectively extracted,identified and quantified.The results showed that the linear correlation between the concentration of indicated ingredients and chromatographic peak area was good.The precision and test sample recovery was consistent with requirements.And it is suitable for the quality analysis of indicated ingredients.In this experiment,the described gel of compound Lithospermum erythrorhizon was Chinese herbal for external use.It took the extraction of some Chinese herbal medicines as the primary raw material.Due to the different properties of the extractives,we used liquid medicine to prepare the agent instead of using powder medicine.And the gel is water-soluble.So we used surfactant to solve the problem.In this research,prescription of the gel were selected by the orthogonal experiments.We made score standard with sensory index and experiment index for gels.With this score standard,we made multivariate study for the preparation of gel and obtained optimum formulation composition.The gel was made of 1%concentration of carbomer-940,20%glycerol and pH=6.5.The physico-chemical property of this gel was studied,such as the appearance and pH.The results showed that the stability of the physical and chemical properties of Chinese herbal compound gel was good and could meet preparation requirement.The stability studies of the gel showed that there was no significant difference when the gel was centrifuged or freezed.But the gel was not stable when exposed to heat,so the product should be conserved in cool temperature and in the dark. |
