The Estimation And Influencing Factors Of Total Factor Productivity In China

Since the reform and opening up,the achievements of our country's economic development have attracted worldwide attention.At the same time,economists have different opinions on the driving force of China's rapid economic growth.Some scholars believe that the rapid growth of China's economy is mainly due to a large amount of input from the factors of production,which is not sustainable.At this time,the measurement of total factor productivity has become a vital task.At present,there are many different methods in the measurement of total factor productivity in the academic circle,and the measurement of the input fa ctors is different.But the mainstream measurement method,Solow balance met hod,stochastic frontier production function method and data envelopment analy sis method do not take into account the endogenous problem of production fun ction.Based on the LP method,we will measure the total factor productivity more accurately.Then we will explore the total factor productivity growth mec hanism from four aspects,including technological innovation,technology introd-uction,institutional change and infrastructure construction.This paper first summarizes the main measurement methods of total factor productivity at home and abroad,and then based on the ACF method we measure the total factor productivity in China.The results show that the ACF method is more accurate for the measure of total factor productivity.From a national perspective,capital investment growth has the largest contribution to economic growth,and the contribution of TFP growth to China's economic growth is decreasing.The contribution of labor input to economic growth is relatively weak and showing great volatility.From a regional perspective,the TFP level of all regions showed a downward trend.The growth rate of TFP in the northeast region was the lowest,and the TFP growth rate in 2012-2015 years was negative.Meanwhile,the loss of the labor input in Northest China is more serious.From the influence factors,there is a nonlinear relationship between the influence of various factors on the growth rate of TFP.In the early stage of economic development,the efficiency of technology import is higher than that of technological innovation.With the continuous development of economy,technological innovation's role in promoting economic growth is more than that of technology introduction.In the different period of economic development,the improvement of the degree of marketization will promote the economic growth.Compared with the first three factors,infrastructure construction has a strong role in promoting economic growth only at the early stage of economic development,and this promotion effect has gradually weakened with the improvement of economic development.
