Relying on the project of "Detailed Investigation of bauxite mine deposit below coal mine in QingYangGou section west of Caoyao,Mianchi County,Henan Province",the research area is located in the west of Zhangcun Town,Mianchi County,Henan Province,Sangshuping Village and its vicinity,covering an area of 1.08 square kilometers,and belongs to the middle bauxite belt of Shaanxian-MianchiXin'an bauxite belt in Western Henan,adjacent to Xiaolongmiao bauxite and deep bauxite of Caoyao coal mine,and has good metallogenic geological conditions.Guided by the new theories and new ideas of bauxite mineralization,and on the premise of collecting the existing geological data systematically,the geological characteristics of bauxite deposits in research area are analyzed and summarized in detail through a series of field investigations and comprehensive indoor studies.The following are my understanding:The genetic type of the deposit is sedimentary bauxite deposit,the ore-bearing rock series is Benxi Formation of Upper Carboniferous,and the metallogenic age is Late Carboniferous.The sedimentary facies of the deposit are lagoon or estuarine facies.The bauxite orebody in this area is divided into two bauxite orebodies by fault.The size of the ore body can reach medium-large scale.The two orebodies are monoclinic,trending to the northeast and tending to the southeast.The bauxite orebody has fewer intercalations,and generally the orebody is one layer.The shape of bauxite is strictly controlled by paleocrust of weathering-karst topography.The overall shape of bauxite is stratiform and partly lenticular.The variation coefficient of ore body thickness is 62.8%,and the orebody thickness is relatively stable.Generally speaking,the plane curvature of the orebody is not very large,and there are three large ore-free skylights in them,the continuity is general.Based on the geostatistical analysis of the thickness,grade and thickness of orebearing rock series,it is considered that the thickness of ore body in this area is not strongly correlated with grade and thickness of ore-bearing rock series,and the content of alumina is positively correlated with the content of titanium dioxide,which indicates that the high degree of weathering and denudation is beneficial to the formation of high-grade bauxite.The ore grade and burial depth of all projects in this area are analyzed.It is considered that there is no correlation between ore grade and burial depth.The ore in this area has no supergene enrichment and is mainly primary ore.The grade of bauxite ore is mostly grade V,and the industrial type mainly belongs to low iron type and high sulfur type.By comparing the ore with the deep bauxite mining area of Caoyao Coal Mine in the adjacent area,it is determined that the processing technical performance basically meets the production requirements.In addition,the contents of rare metals Li,Ga and REE associated(“three rare”)associated with bauxite in the area and the amount of resources in the area were preliminarily studied in this paper.
