The rapid assessment of earthquake damage loss after earthquake is an important scientific means of disaster prevention and mitigation. It provides scientific and reasonable basis for scientific rescue and reconstruction after earthquake.Earthquake emergency work needs scientific and accurate earthquake damage assessment results. In the paper, the assessment and development trend of disaster loss are briefly reviewed. In the paper, the damage loss of historical earthquake area is evaluated. The vulnerability of life, buildings and economic are used to carry out the comprehensive evaluation of principal component analysis,so as to evaluate and analyze the earthquake disaster loss.It is used to divide the high-risk areas in the study area, obtain the evaluation data of high-risk areas, and estimate the possible earthquake disaster losses in the future by analyzing and evaluating the earthquake damage losses in different intensity areas. In the paper, the historical earthquake cases from 1996 to 2010 are collected to provide data support for the comprehensive model.According to the requirements of the model for data, the data of 171 earthquakes from 1996 to 2010 are statistically recorded, and the disaster loss assessment model is established by using the historical earthquake area data.In order to obtain the basic information of the earthquake area, the KM grid data of population, economy and buildings are obtained by using GIS technology This paper briefly introduces the development of GIS technology for earthquake emergency, and introduces the characteristics and advantages of the technology. At the same time,it also details the specific steps of the application of KM grid through GIS technology,as well as the advantages and characteristics of using km grid to obtain the basic information of earthquake area. After preprocessing and standardizing the obtained km grid data, the covariance matrix of the sample is constructed.Through orthogonal transformation, the principal components related to building loss, life vulnerability and economic loss are solved, and the comprehensive evaluation and analysis are carried out by using the obtained principal components. Therefore, the concept of comprehensive evaluation and the advantages anddevelopment of the model are described in detail. At the same time, the principal component analysis method based on statistical analysis is introduced in detail, and the corresponding model development flow chart is made.Meanwhlie,an economic and population prediction model based on building vulnerability is established. In order to test the scientific rationality of the model, the evaluation effect of the model is analyzed by using the MS 5.7 Lijiang earthquake in Yunnan Province on September 25,1996 and the MS 5.0 earthquake in Wenxian County,Gansu Province on June 21,2006,And get the expected effect of the model which is close to or similar to the actual situation. The study area is divided into northeast, central and western regions by using the comprehensive evaluation model of earthquake damage assessment. The high-risk analysis of the study area is carried out.It is a relatively complete comprehensive evaluation of the central region by using the current data.Due to the lack of earthquake case data in the western region, parts of the northeast and high-intensity areas, the assessment and analysis can' t be carried out,and it will continue in the future.Through the accumulation of earthquake cases,we should continue to improve the evaluation function of the model and make a more scientific and reasonable comprehensive evaluation and analysis.
