The forestry in china has developed steadily for a long term,the industrial structure of forestry also has gradually transitioned from the primary stage to the advanced stage,which means the dominant place of the primary industry transferred to the secondary industry.The entire forestry industry has evolved from the traditional development model,which is focusing on quantity,to the advanced development model,which is focusing on quality.Meanwhile,the center of the forestry industry has moved.Compared with elementary production factors such as capital and labor,advanced production factors such as management and information can play a more critical role in new industrial environment.About 10 years ago,China released its forestry informatization development strategy,which aiming to use information technology to promote high-quality forestry development.With the development of China's forestry informatization,data collection has begun to produce a large amount of forestry industry statistical data which can illustrate most aspects of forestry industry.However,forestry information services in china only provide these valuable data to users in a traditional method,which is not conducive to users' comprehending of the characteristics of data,nor is it conducive for users to deep mine the data.In order to improve the informatization level of china's forestry information services,provide users with more intuitive visualized data,help users to deep mine forestry data,assist forestry decision makers to analyze forestry industry statistical data,promote the scientific forestry decision-making,this paper designed a data visualization system of forestry industry statistical data,which can provide visualized forestry industry information services to users.The system is built as Browser/Server structure and takes forestry industry statistical data in “China Forestry Statistical Yearbook” as data resource.The system is three-layers architecture,which is one of the typical framework of web application.In the data storage layer,the upper layer of the three-layer architecture,there is My SQL database to store and search the forestry industry statistical data.In the business logic layer,the middle layer of the three-layer architecture,there are JSP and Servlet scripts to implement the server-toclient response logic.In the user interface layer,the bottom layer of the three-layer architecture,there are webpage codes consist of HTML,CSS and Java Script.The system will also access Baidu Map Java Script API and ECharts plug-in in user interface layer to visualize the forestry industry statistical data.The user interface layer will submit request to business logic layer using AJAX,which can reduce unnecessary repetitive loading of the front-end page and speed up the response speed of the front-end page.The system has two query function modules and three visualization function modules.Two different ways for users to query data ensures the interactivity of the system.And three visualization methods can highlight the different characteristics of data,so that users can analyze and mine data from multiple dimensions.The whole system can provide users with visualized forestry industry statistics data and provide auxiliary support for data analysis and mining.And the system architecture has common compatibility and reusability for most of the visualization application platform of forestry industry statistics data.
