The biggest security risk of coal industry is gas accidents.Methane The gas is not only a threat to human life,but also causes spontaneous combustion,and explosion or accident site,.At the same time gas is a kind of high quality energy,the quality and safety gas drainage measures can make full use of the gas,improve the economic benefit,help the sustainable development.The communication technology of gas drainage in coal mine is not only the key to realize intelligent and networked gas drainage,but also the important link of high-speed and informational mine.At the present stage in China,the communication system of gas drainage has the disadvantages that the information can't exchange,the communication lines construct repeated,the system maintained costly,the overall poor reliability,the high failure rate causing by using wired communication,which restricts the development of modern coal industry.Based on the studying of the underground radio waves propagation characteristics,transmission characteristics of wireless channel,the tunnel cross section's influence on electromagnetic waves propagation characteristics and Zigbee network,a set of gas drainage based on CAN bus and wireless communication system was designed in this thesis,which realized the communication between the PC host and sensor underground.In this communication system,The monitoring PC on the ground and monitoring equipment of various fixed nodes underground using CAN bus for data transfer,monitoring equipment can detect temperature of the pump,line pressure,water flow,the concentration of gas,and other data to the PC on the ground;Wireless communication part is mine personnel to carry gas monitor with wireless communication module and the function of the equipment,with the moving of the personnel to collect different parameter information of the location,and the transmission of the collected results to the fixed nodes,fixed nodes through the data conversion,again through the network CAN transmit the information to the PC on the ground.The test platform of communication system was constructed in this thesis.Through physical and software testing,test the communication system designed by the effectiveness of each node of the hardware and software.Test results show that the system is designed to meet the communication requirements of gas drainage system.This system has strong practicability,which can solve the problem of the small and medium-sized coal enterprises to buy rare gas drainage communication system,improve the production safety of coal mining enterprises performance.
