Rubber tapes are made of rubber as raw materials and have special purposes,and they are widely used at present.Ribbed belt is an important product of adhesive tape.It is widely used in automobile engine transmission belt and so on.Ribbed belt combines most of the advantages of flat band and V band.In the overall structure,the V-belt is used as the main substrate,and in the interior of the contact surface of the gears such as gears,there are a number of V wedges closely arranged.So the ribbed belt has the stability and firmness of flat belt and the excellent transmission performance of V belt.In order to deal with the increasing working temperature,the traditional chloroprene rubber has been unable to adapt.The EPDM ribbed belt and HNBR ribbed belt which can withstand high temperature are in urgent need of development.This thesis studied the formulation design properties of EPDM ribbed belt and HNBR ribbed belt,including reinforcement system,curing system,tackifier,short fiber.The affects of the physical and mechanical properties and thermal oxidative aging properties on the EPDM ribbed belt and HNBR ribbed belt was investigated.using.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM)was used to observe the tensile cross-section of EPDM ribbed belt,and the orientation of short fiber was analyzed.The results show that in the design of the EPDM ribbed belt,the N330 is used as the main filler with the smooth surface and the high structure,and can enhance strength of blends efficiently.However,excessive carbon black can form aggregates and reduce the properties of vulcanizate.In this study,the dosage of EPDM ribbed belt buffer adhesive was 55 phr,and the amount of EPDM ribbed belt wedge was about 65 phr.The physical and mechanical properties of EPDM vulcanizate can be greatly improved by using sulfur /DCP composite vulcanization system.The vulcanizate had the best properties after vulcanizating by 160?,10 MPa and 15~30min.In the study of the adhesion system,the use of RC and 1756 HS can greatly enhance the adhesive capacity of EPDM buffer.When the dosage of RC was 5 and the 1756 HS content was about 8 phr,the adhesive property of EPDM ribbed belt buffer was better.In the study of short fiber reinforced system,nylon 66(FN66)short fiber reinforcement effect of EPDM wedge is the best,and the orientation is better in the gross rubber.In the design of HNBR ribbed belt,the effect of carbon black N330 is better,and the dosage is 40 phr.In the design of HNBR ribbed belt,it is better to choose the vulcanized rubber cured by peroxide system.The physical and mechanical properties of vulcanized rubber can be improved effectively by using DCP as curing agent and using TAIC as co-curing agent.When the dosage of DCP is 5 and the dosage of TAIC is about 1.5 phr,the effect of HNBR ribbed belt is the best.In the study of the system,the use of Dymalink 634 can effectively improve the adhesive ability of HNBR vulcanizate.When the dosage of Dymalink 634 is 7 phr,the adhesive property of HNBR ribbed belt vulcanizate is better.
