As a common defect in the rolling production of medium plate,to solving the head warping and decurved effectively is of great significance to industrial production.This paper relies on the project about head warping and decurved of medium plate,which was carried out for 2800 mm mill.Through the analysis of rolling process and based on the actual conditions,we put forward some related solutions.The main research contents are as following:(1)By site investigation,we classfied rolled pieces which exists head warping and decurved on site,at same time,statistics on the related pass,location and degree in the defected rollers and analysis on the factors which affected the rolling process were studied.At last,we concluded the main reasons that affects the head warping and decurved in the rolling process.(2)By studying the influence about rolled piece temperature,roll diameter,coefficient of friction and the height of the rolling line,we sum up influence rules resulting in head warping and decurved with the finite element simulation software to simulate the different factors which has mentioned before.(3)Establishing the finite element model of temperature field and analyze piece temperature in the actual rolling process,and through adding infrared thermometer to test the field temperature,given the rolled piece temperature distribution in the process of rolling combined with the actual conditions and the simulation results.(4)Based on the comparison and analysis of the rolling line height in the roughing and finishing rolling section,the reference value of the rolling line height is given in combination with the simulation analysis.At the same time,the existing roller eccentricity is calculated,and the reference value of the new eccentricity is put forward.(5)Through the study to the waves of bending,combined with the application of theory of head warping and decurved,the reason resulted waves of bending be analyzed.And combining the simulation to the actual conditions of rolling which causes wave of bending,the measures to solve the problem are put forward.The paper has analyzed the reasons which resulted in head warping and decurved in the rolling of medium plate,combined with the simulation study,to take control of rolled piece temperature difference in the rolling process and adjust the height of the rolling line,solves the problem of head warping and decurved in the production of medium plate.
