Oily sludge is a mixture of crude oil or refined oil contaminated by other organism,sludge and water.It is also the product generated during the procedures of oil exploitation,refining,production and processing;Oily sludge contains not only a lot of oil resources but also a large number of harmful and toxic substances.If it is not properly treated and utilized,it will be a great waste f resources as well as a serious environment pollution.Therefore,it has great significance in the reclamation management of the oily sludge.This paper comes up with a new kind of oily sludge treatment of pyrolysis technology.The low-temperature heat treatment,high-temperature pyrolysis and residue catalytic cracking three-stage treatment of oil-containing sludge.To achieve the harmless and resourceful treatment of oily sludge.First,the analysis methods of the physical and chemical characteristics of the oily sludge are established.Meanwhile,4 different kinds of the oily sludge are analyzed.It shows that because of the different sources and production methods,the physical and chemical characteristics of the oily sludge have a great differences,with the oily content at 20%?60%which has the very high recovery use value;Through the analysis of the thermogravimetry,the stages of the oily sludge's weight losing can be divided into four:desiccation(room temperature?180?),volatilization of the light oil component(180??380?),pyrolysis of the heavy oil(380?550?),decomposition of the semi-coking and inorganic mineral(>55?).There's obvious weight-losing difference at each stage because of the different compositions of the oily sludge.Second,the pyrolysis treatment devices for the oily sludge are set to do low temperature treatment for the the oily sludge from the water treatment plant in the refinery.The experimental result shows that the low temperature thermal treatment at 350? can reduce 74.3%of the oily sludge's weight,with the recovery rate of the light weight oil's phase component above 90%;Different pyrolysis factors in the production rate of 3-phase pyrolysis components and the influences on the 3-phase components' characteristics are different.The best working condition for the pyrolysis treatment of the oily sludge through orthogonal test is:the pyrolysis temperature at 650 ?,the temperature increasing speed at 10?/min,the pyrolysis time for 50 minutes.The solid production rate under this condition is 60.82%,the liquid production rate is 29.74%,and the gas production rate is 0.172L/g.The residual oil rate of the residue after pyrolysis is 2835mg/kg and the heavy metals content is up to the standard of the impregnation toxicity.Finally,the research of the two-stage pyrolysis treatment of the oily sludge with the residue after pyrolysis treatment as the catalyzer is done.Its result shows that the pyrolysis residue has an efficient catalytic effect due to its rich specific surface area,pore structure,and rich alkaline earth metal elements.At the same time,the reaction of water gas at high temperature constantly updates the catalytic sites so that they are not easily deactivated due to carbon deposition,when the catalytic temperature is 800? and the bed height is 200mm,the catalytic performance of the pyrolysis residue to the residual oil is the best.The conversion rate of the residual oil is 79.7%.Meanwhile,this paper also has an evaluation of the economy related to the technology approaches based on the experimental results.
