In the actual production process of 1450 Tandem Cold Mill,there are some problems,such as the tension roller slipping,the looper control and the automatic position control error of the looper in the welding mode,and the poor usability.Aiming at solving this problem,this paper optimizes the control method and program based on the research of looper tension control principle and looper speed control principle,and applies it to the actual production process.The main tasks are as follows:1)Analyzing looper tension control mechanism and main factors;computing research from the tension roller validation of the design theory and its torque compensation.In order to achieve stable tension control,reduce the oscillation of the tension changes and response time,solve the problem of tension roller slip by increasing the current loop and Droop control.2)The loop tension control system is controlled mainly by ASR speed control.ASR speed loop response is slow,which is the important reason for controlling the pure lag when the speed deviation is too large.After increasing the ACR current loop,the speed ring is used as the outer ring,and the current loop is used as the inner ring to realize double closed loop control.3)To design in detail the new current loop,Droop control and loop zero compensation,loop velocity correction calculation function in detail.Completing the system optimization by building the platform from two aspects of hardware and software.Solving the above-mentioned help to realize the stable operation of looper control system.The actual operation data show that the optimization effect is obvious.After optimization,the tension fluctuation amplitude is controlled within 10%,and it tends to be stable 15 seconds later.The tension setting value in the steady state is basically identical,The strip is running smoothly in the looper,the slippage is eliminated,and the stable operation of the production line is ensured.
