The deepening policy of reform & opening-up has brought about greatly developed domestic economy.Population size of permanent residents in the city are sharply increased accompany with a new-round of urbanization.In the course of development,film industry as pacesetter of cultural circle,which gets its golden era.More and more real estate developers are willing to built cinemas as their cultural industry projects.Currently,cineplexes project has been actively developed and constructed by domestic market.Meanwhile,for taking usage requirements into consideration,lots of cinemas are located in buildings where are integrated locations with multiple functions.Such way is giving consideration to both screening function and stable customers for commercial complex.It is not only can meet requirements of people for film-watching,but also can benefit commercial demands such as shopping,entertainment and etc.This thesis is a study summary about research status of domestic & international constructions' performance enhanced fire proofing.And it is also elaborate cineplexes & IMAX cinemas settings and their irreplaceability in business.We adopt a combination way of both fire code and software simulation analyses for designing the whole cineplexes & IMAX cinemas.Fire risk,fire spread & smoke flow state and personnel safety evacuation for cineplexes & IMAX cinemas are also analyzed by using the performance-based software.Combining with an architecture instance of IMAX cinemas project's fire protection design of Harbin Eontime city commercial complex(hereinafter referred as "Eontime city"),we analyze and then regulate fire protection design of cinemas buildings by adopting design of performance-based fire protection.We could incessantly optimize and update design of performance-enhanced fire protection,which adopted by cineplexes and IMAX cinemas.And assumed under different fire scenarios,we make simulation analyses by using special software.Smoke exhaust volume calculation and smoke movement of IMAX cinemas also could be simulated.Moreover,we are according to current engineering methodology to simulate the safety evacuation parameters of moviegoers,evacuation time and evacuation scenario.By doing above mentioned,we could not only set up effective fire proofing system for building design,but also could put forward feasible proposal for daily operation management of such kind of cinemas building by combining other projects' experiences.The research of this thesis have certain reference value for performance-based fire protection design of IMAX cinemas buildings.It will be helpful to promote fire safety design of cinemas building to become more comfortable,logical and academic.
