Spiral bevel gears have the advantages of good bearing capacity,smooth transmission and high transmission efficiency,and are often used to convey the motion between intersecting or intersecting axes.However,due to the complexity of the mathematical model of spiral bevel gears,processing adjustment is very complicated,prone to error,resulting in spiral bevel gear processing accuracy is low,long processing cycle.CNC technology to spiral bevel gear processing has brought a change,full CNC machine structure can reduce the transmission chain,so as to improve the processing accuracy.In this paper,the digital processing technology is studied,and the special module of spiral bevel gear is developed based on HNC8 numerical control system,which simplifies the processing flow and shortens the processing cycle.The main contents of this paper are as follows:The processing principle and method of the Gleason Spiral Bevel Gear are studied,and the structure of the traditional machine tool and the whole CNC machine tool are compared and analyzed.The use of the straight line of the crankshaft,wheel position and bed of the traditional machine tool Axis to replace,so that the traditional mechanical machine tool can be converted to five-axis CNC machine tools,and gives the software and hardware implementation program.The concept of machine adjustment parameters on traditional machine tools is switched to CNC machine tools.Using the spatial relative motion invariance,the five-axis mathematical model of the complex machining method is deduced.The complex motion of the spiral bevel gear is decomposed into the synthetic motion of the five servo axes,and the conversion method is given.The tool path obtained by the kinematic transformation is post-processed to obtain a numerical control program which can be used for machining.According to the actualprocessing requirements,the contact area error ratio correction technique is analyzed so that the contact area can be controlled by modifying the corresponding machine adjustment parameters.Focusing on the application of machining field and the need of CNC machining of spiral bevel gears,the machine adjustment parameters,machining parameters and correction parameters used in the machining process are regulated,and the spiral bevel gear processing module based on HNC8 numerical control system is developed,By entering the processing parameters of the way to generate processing procedures,and uses the virtual simulation technology to carry on the comprehensive verification to the above theoretical method.
