With the development of science and technology,industrial production has also moved toward an era of automation and intelligence.Industry 4.0 has even accelerated this pace.The more mature the development of machine vision,is widely used in various fields.The production of domestic quartz ingots is mostly open-loop control systems,resulting in non-standard quartz ingots and severe waste of resources.With regard to material level monitoring,there are still artificial observations,which greatly reduce the production efficiency and hinder the improvement of the automation level of production.Based on this,this paper proposes a distributed monitoring system based on the machine vision technology for the quartz ingot level,the system is a closed-loop control system,which realizes real-time feedback and intelligent control,realizes production standardization,saves resources,and improves the automation and intelligence of the production of quartz ingots.The monitoring system of this paper adopts such technical methods as machine vision,distributed systems,and PID control.Firstly,the functional requirements of the system is analyzed,introduces the design principles,proposes the overall scheme of the system,and analyzes the feasibility of the system scheme.Then,the theoretical techniques used in the system are explained,the design of the machine vision system is completed and the image processing is performed,and the effects are compared using various filtering and image segmentation methods.The calculation of the height,width,area and slope of the quartz ingot was completed.The principle of distributed system and PID control algorithm were introduced.Finally,the design and simulation of the control system are introduced.The system uses windows environment to develop the monitoring software,and analyzes the software function requirements and design requirements.This article studies the level monitoring system for quartz ingot production.The system adopts the principle of closed-loop control system.Through intelligent control,the controllability and reliability of quartz ingot production monitoring have been improved,making the production of quartz ingots more standardized,intelligent and informative.
