Petrochemical industry is a chemical industry of petroleum and natural gas,which is one of the important pillar industries of the national economy.Petroleum and chemical products as the basis of three ene(ethylene,propylene,butadiene,)and three benzene(benzene,toluene,xylene),and ethylene is the main representative products,and have been dominant.Ethylene production separation device is a typical large continuous chemical production device,complex process,equipment,more prone to failure,serious can cause great economic losses,so it is necessary for the research of fault diagnosis.Liable to accident of ethylene plant in this paper,the petrochemical industry as the object,will be based on the fault tree analysis method and expert system,solves the bottleneck of expert system in the aspect of knowledge acquisition,the use of c # language and SQL Server database software to complete the development of fault diagnosis system,eventually achieve the system can for most abnormal condition of reasoning,analysis,timely find out the cause of the problem and provide the corresponding treatment measures.The main research contents of this paper include the following aspects:(1)To fully understand and master the process and failure of the ethylene plant,and to collect and organize a large number of fault knowledge and rules.According to the process characteristics and device function of ethylene plant,it divides it into 3 sub sets of cracking system,compression system and separation system.Each subset sets up a knowledge base individually,so as to make the system orderly and convenient for management.(2)Making use of the advantages of fault tree(FTA)in qualitative aspect,we focus on the rendering of fault tree of three systems.We use qualitative analysis of fault tree analysis method to get the minimum cut set of each system and find the weak link of the system.(3)The above calculated minimum cut sets into fault diagnosis expert system rules and knowledge in Visual Studio development environment using C# language and SQL Server database to complete the overall design of the system,developed a fault diagnosis expert system reasoning based on generative rules,while the fault diagnosis module intelligent input information prompt,cancel the initial diagnosis button,thereby reducing the time of diagnosis of the fault diagnosis expert system,improve the efficiency of fault diagnosis system.
