Vocational education plays an important role in China’s education system and is the main force in cultivating "big country craftsmen." Vocational education mainly trains application-oriented talents who have strong practical ability and can quickly adapt to on-site production work.At present,most of the vocational education still adopts the traditional teaching method,that is,the lectures are first conducted,the experiments and the internships are conducted,which leads to the disconnection between theory and practice.This project is aimed at the actual situation of students in secondary vocational schools.Taking the numerical control professional course "CNC Milling Processing Technology" as an example,the project teaching method of actual work tasks is simulated by simulation,and the learning of theoretical knowledge and the cultivation of practical ability are organically combined.By completing project tasks,students can not only obtain a sense of achievement,but also improve their interest in learning.After graduation,they can adapt to site work more quickly,and the contradiction between theoretical knowledge and practical ability in traditional teaching methods is overcome.Through consulting relevant literatures,the application research of the current project teaching method in the teaching of "CNC Milling Processing Technology" mainly focuses on the project teaching research of some important knowledge points,but the project teaching method research is not carried out on the overall course content.At the same time,a questionnaire survey was conducted among students of a mechanical industry school in Guizhou Province.It was found that the teaching methods,teaching contents and teaching evaluation methods of this course urgently need to be reformed.In response to the problems found in the survey,the project design of the "CNC Milling Processing Technology" course was systematically designed.The design content mainly includes project content design,project implementation plan,project teaching implementation plan design,and project design is the most important and difficult part of the whole design process.The original model in the content of this project is a small bench vise.Combined with the content and characteristics of the course,the structure of the vise is simplified and modified in the case of retaining the basic characteristics of the vise.The modified bench vise mainly contains seven parts.Forming seven independent sub-projects,and the knowledge in the sub-projects is connected.The students master the knowledge and processing skills of CNC milling programming instructions by completing the tasks of each sub-project.According to the design project implementation plan of the project,the project is applied to the teaching of "CNC Milling Processing Technology",and the project teaching experiment is carried out with the students of Class 1 and Class 2 of the 2017 CNC major in a mechanical industry school in Guizhou Province as the experimental object.The project teaching experiment includes pre-experimental testing and post-experimental testing.Before the experiment,the two classes of students are tested for basic ability.The class with lower pre-test scores is selected as the experimental class,and the project teaching method is implemented in the class.After the experiment,the "Student Course Evaluation Form" was used to evaluate the two classes of students,and then collect and organize the test data before and after the experiment,conduct data analysis with EpiDate and SPSS software,and summarize the application effect of the project teaching method.The research results show that it is feasible to apply the project teaching method in the course of "CNC Milling Processing Technology" in the secondary vocational school.After applying the project teaching method,the students’ CNC milling programming and processing ability,learning interest,learning enthusiasm and professional accomplishment have been significantly improved.
