Research On The Performance Evaluation Of Environmental Management In Sanshui District Of Foshan City

Since the 18 th CPC National Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping has delivered a series of important speeches on the construction of ecological civilization and environmental protection,putting forward many new ideas,new views,new judgments and new requirements.After the 19 th National Congress,ecological civilization reached a new height,and the strictness and long-term effectiveness of the environmental protection system have been formed.It has become one of the important tasks of the current government to deeply understand and actively adapt to the new normal of economic development,change the mode of economic development and adjust the economic development strategy,strengthen environmental management and do a better job in environmental protection.Facing the increasingly severe environmental protection situation,how to improve the performance of environmental management has become an important task for local governments to perform their administrative duties.The important way to study and solve this problem is to carry out the performance evaluation of local government environmental management.The government’s environmental performance evaluation provides data support for environmental management supervision and auditing.By evaluating the government’s specific performance in environmental management,such as decision-making,process control,quality and effect,it points out the shortcomings and problems,which can effectively improve the government’s environmental governance ability and achieve greater management results.According to the requirements of the construction of local green development system and ecological civilization,this paper studies and discusses the environmental management performance evaluation of local government,preliminarily constructs the environmental management performance evaluation system of Sanshui district government in Foshan city by combining theory with practice,evaluates the environmental management of Sanshui district in 2017,and puts forward suggestions on the improvement of environmental management of Sanshui district based on the evaluation results.The purpose of studying the environmental management performance evaluation of local government is to improve the government’s environmental management performance.Therefore,the last part of this paper puts forward objective and reasonable feasible opinions on the environmental management evaluation of Sanshui District,with a view to achieving better results.
