Coupling Coordination Relationship Between Urbanization And The Eco-environment In Qingdao City

Urbanization is an inevitable choice for China to improve its economic strength and improve people’s living standards.As the world ’s largest developing country,since reform and opening up,China has maintained rapid economic growth and urbanization Environmental problems such as atmospheric,water,and solid waste pollution generated during urbanization have become increasingly prominent.On the contrary,the deterioration of the ecological environment will restrict the sustainable development of the city.The problem of coordinated development of urbanization and ecological environment has gradually attracted the attention of government departments and academia,and has become an important issue that many urban areas need to faceQingdao is one of China’s coastal rapid urbanization areas,and has an important strategic position in the coordinated development of China’s regional economy.In order to explore the relationship between Qingdao’s urbanization and ecological environment,and find out ways to promote the coordinated development of urbanization and ecological environment,This article attempts to elaborate the connotation and mechanism of the coupling and coordination between urbanization and ecological environment,based on the actual situation of Qingdao,a comprehensive evaluation index system for urbanization and ecological environment system was established.Then by building a coupling model of urbanization and ecological environment,we quantitatively analyzed the coupling and coordination process and evolution trend of Qingdao urbanization and ecological environment from 2000 to 2018.Finally,regression analysis was used to explore the driving factors that cause urbanization and changes in the ecological environment systemThis paper finds that,from the perspective of indicator weights,economic urbanization contributes the largest proportion of comprehensive urbanization at the level of the urbanization system,followed by spatial urbanization,social urbanization,and population urbanization.The level of ecological environment contributes the most to the overall level of ecological environment,followed by ecological environment pressure,ecological environment response and ecological environment efficiency From the perspective of comprehensive development index,the comprehensive urbanization development index of Qingdao from 2000 to 2018 ranges from 0.0623 to 0.9466,showing a steady upward trend overall;The ecological environment comprehensive development index ranges from 0.3353 to 0.8037.The level subsystem in the ecological environment system fluctuates greatly,showing an extremely unstable state.State,efficiency and response indicators fluctuate relatively small with the development of urbanization,and the overall upward trend is more obvious.From 2000 to 2018,the degree of coupling and coordination between urbanization and the ecological environment ranged from 0.2357 to 0.9124,showing a steady upward trend in general.The coupling correlation coefficient R2 of the two was greater than 0.9,and the overall coupling effect of the two was better During the study period,the development of Qingdao’s urbanization and eco-environment coupling has gone through four stages.The time series are moderately defiant confrontation period-urbanization lagged(2000-2004),barely unequal run-in period-urbanization lagged(2005-2009),well-coordinated moderate coupling period-development synchronous phase(2010-2013),highly coordinated highly coupled period-ecological environment lagged(2014-2018).From the results of the coupling between urbanization and the ecological environment subsystem,the economic urbanization in the urbanization subsystem has a greater impact on the ecological environment system,After that,the order from large to small is spatial urbanization,social urbanization and population urbanization;ecological efficiency of the environmental subsystem is most affected by the urbanization system,followed by the ecological environment response,ecological environment pressure,and ecological environment levelFinally,based on the research results and the actual situation of Qingdao,we put forward measures and suggestions to achieve the coordinated development of Qingdao’s urbanization and ecological environment from the aspects of scientifically and rationally promoting urbanization,strengthening ecological protection,improving government management,and guiding public participation.
