| As the cradle of civilization,China has stood firm among the nations in the world with the four great inventions of ancient China, among which papermaking technology has profound influences on later generations and made great contributions to preservation of ancient civilization. However, continuous innovation of industrialization and informationization as well as constant progress of science and technology have impact greatly the inheritance and development of traditional manual papermaking technology.According to surveys, less than 1% of paper yield in China is the paper manually made, while over 99% are paper made by machine. Therefore,it has become a problem that requires to be considered and solved immediately how to advertise and disseminate traditional manual papermaking technology with modern communication media to protect Chinese intangible cultural heritage.Ever since traditional Chinese manual papermaking technology was innovated and promoted by Cai Lun in the Eastern Han Dynasty,it has been popular in Yunan,Guizhou,Sichuan,Anhui,Zhejiang,Tibet,Fujian,Guangdong and Guangxi in China.Though the materials and procedures vary by adjusting measures to local conditions,it can be classified into two major types based on the systems of the manufacturing skills, that is,the pouring method and the pulping method. The technique of making bamboo paper in Jiajiang county,Sichuan province can be classified into the latter type.Dated from Tang dynasty, with a history of over a thousand years,it is an artistic process of ancient paper-making technology that has been preserved intact till now.As a precious heritage in the development of human beings,it was enrolled in National Intangible Cultural Heritage List of Traditional Skills and has attracted attentions from domestic and foreign scholars with its unique value. So far, according to incomplete statistics, scholars study Jiajiang traditional manual papermaking technology mainly focusing ontextual research on historical evolution, scientific analysis and complete records of papermaking skills, inheritance model, analysis of sustainable development strategies,andetc..The communication discussed in this article is different from the research scope of communication in anthropology: about intergenerational inheritance,cross-regional communication trajectories and rheological research in the process of communication, but using communication science as a research tool to explore modern communication methods. What kind of communication effect does Jiang traditional handmade papermaking technology produce, and how to produce ideal communication effect. The promotion and application of new technologies have expanded the boundaries of media, while the full coverage of network signals has blurred the boundaries of various types of propagation. Therefore, the integration of media has become a core feature of modern communication.Through integration of media,it can effectively broaden the breadth and depth of communication, complement the shortcomings of the traditional communication channel with a single mode and a single form of content, and realize resource communication, information sharing, and form integration. The traditional papermaking skills of Jiajiang have been inherited for thousands of years, and have profound cultural heritage and aesthetic value. The skills behind it reflect the survival vitality of the people and are a reflection of the cultural ecology of Jiajiang.Combine modern communication and Jiajiang traditional hand-made papermaking techniques in an organic way, with a view to reaching the prestige, spreading things spontaneously, spontaneously spreading, from cognition, attitude and behavior to spreading effect. |
