Process optimization is a necessary activity for enterprises to improve management efficiency,self-reform and innovation,and adapt to the changing environment of the times.The main goal of product development process optimization is to reduce the rework iteration of design activities,improve the efficiency of information transfer between design activities,analyze and find out the most efficient working mode in actual development.YF company,as a leading enterprise in the industry,has a complete process of product development.But in recent years,it has encountered challenges that related to development process.The long product development cycle and low development efficiency are the main problems complained about.In order to improve the flexibility of enterprise development process and enhance the competitiveness of enterprise technology and products,it is imperative to optimize the existing product development process.Based on the analysis of the characteristics and current situation of the product development process of the enterprise,this article analyzes and optimizes the product development process of YF company by using DSM theory and relevant analysis methods.First of all,based on the characteristics of Boolean matrix,the analytic hierarchy process is used to identify and sort current problems in the development process,and find out the problems existing in the process and the importance of each problem.Secondly,the product development process is preliminarily optimized by matrix merging,splitting and operation.Then,DSM method is used to analyze and optimize the development process,and the optimized development process is obtained.Finally,the validity of the proposed optimization method is verified from three aspects: forward and feedback information analyzing,task waiting time analyzing and overall development time analysis based on time factor.Combined with the results of process optimization,the corresponding auxiliary measures for YF company’s process management are proposed.After theoretical verification and practical results analysis,the optimized product development process effectively reduces the design iteration process of YF company,reduces the coupling between design tasks,and shortens the product development cycle.The design activities among the products are planned more reasonably and the product development efficiency is improved.The research of this article provides a detail basis for YF company to improve product R & D management,and the process optimization method also can be used as a reference for other types of process improvement...
