Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy Safety And Effectiveness Assessment For Day-surgery

Objective:To systematically evaluate the safety and effectiveness of day surgery laparoscopic cholecystectomy:Methods:The EMBase and PubMed databases were searched.The search date was limited to building database until December 2017.Data extraction and literature quality evaluation of the conforming documents were carried out,data processing was done using stata14.0 software and forest maps were made.Results:A total of 13 articles were included.In a meta-analysis,there was no evidence that daily intraoperative laparoscopic gallbladder surgery had a higher incidence of postoperative complications compared with overnight surgery(P=0.342)and increased post-hospital morbidity(P = 0.235).No difference was found in the rate of readmission(P = 0.168),hospital stay(P = 0.417),postoperative consultation rate(P = 0.680),postoperative recovery activity time,postoperative pain and nausea and vomiting scores.However,the results showed that day surgery may resume early work and improve patient satisfaction.Conclusion:Day surgery laparoscopic cholecystectomy is safe and effective in selective patients,but more research is needed in the future.
