Objectives In this study, through understanding the working conditions of nano-SiO2occupational exposure groups.Determination of dust concentration in the job site.To explore the effect of nano-SiO2 on the health hazards by questionnaire survey, lung function test and collection of physical examination data?including blood routine, routine urine, chest X-ray and electrocardiogram, etc?to compared occupational exposure group and control group. Methods Choosing 195 workers from two nano-SiO2 production enterprise as the object in Hebei Province. The observation group and control group were divided by dust exposure. The observation group personnel 65 and control group personnel 130.Surveyed its plant layout, basic process, raw materials, auxiliary materials and intermediate products.Total dust concentration in the air of workplace was determined by iCNN6 G mobile dust concentration meter.Collecting basic information and occupational history of the workers by using the questionnaire survey.Collection of physical examination data and pulmonary function of workers were examined by Portable lung function instrument?Germany,Geratherm?.Mean differences between the two group comparing with independent samples t test, rate or form than comparing with Pearson test, through contrast analysis of two groups of workers in all kinds of test results, explore the nano-SiO2 pulmonary function to occupational exposure groups, the influence of the physical examination results and use the Logistic regression analysis on the correlation analysis. Results 1 Determination of dust concentration on the job site:the concentration of dust in the reaction area, plate frame pressure filter area and drying packaging area in normal working state is 8.38,19.30 and 31.25 mg/m3 respectively, the dust concentration in the office area was 0.69 mg/m3.2 The basic situation research object:a total of 195 participants were enrolled in this study. The observation group were 65 of whom 33?50.77%?were male and 32?49.23%?were female and control group were 130 of whom66?50.77%?were male and 64?49.23%?were female.3 Pulmonary function examination results:compared with the control group, the observation group's PEF%,MEF25%,MEFF%and MVV%were obviously decrease, and the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?.The abnormal rates of VC%,FVC%,FEV1%,PEF%,MEF75%and MVV%were higher than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?.The logistic regression analysis showed that the nano-SiO2 exposure was a major risk factor for VC%,FVC%,FEV1%,PEF%,MEF75%and MVV%?OR were 3.81,5.73,3.26,13.131,3.30 and 8.93,P<0.05?.4 Effects of smoking on pulmonary function of workers:In the control group, the abnormal rate of pulmonary function index of FVC%,FEV1%,PEF%,MEF75%,MEF50%and MVV%smoking workers in the control group was significantly higher than that of non-smoking workers, and the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?.5 Blood routine examination:compared with the control group, the abnormal rate of HCT and EO#in the observation group was significantly higher than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?.The logistic regression analysis showed that the nano-SiO2 exposure was a major risk factor for HCT?OR was 5.06,P<0.05?.6 Urine routine examination:the abnormality rate of SG and URO in the observation group were significantly higher than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?.The logistic regression analysis showed that the nano-SiO2 exposure was a major risk factor for SG and URO?OR was 2.65,P<0.05 and OR was 55.12,P<0.05?.7 The test results of the cardiovascular system that:the abnormality rate of hypertension and ECG in the observation group was significantly higher than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?.The logistic regression analysis showed that the nano-Si O2 exposure was a major risk factor for hypertension and abnormalities of the ECG?OR was 5.45,P<0.05 and OR was 7.85,P<0.05?.Conclusions 1 Exposure to nano-SiO2 occupational exposure have effects on pulmonary function, especially the lung small airway function.2 The blood routine and urine routine of occupational exposure group were more abnormal than those in the control group, suggesting that exposure to nano-SiO2 might have an effect on the blood system and renal function.3 Exposure to nano-SiO2 may have an effect on the cardiovascular system of occupational exposure.
