The Academic Thought And Clinical Experience Of South Fujian’s Acupuncture Qigong Master Mr.CHEN Ying-long

Mr.CHEN Ying-long,who was born in Longhai county,Fujian province,is a famous expert on acupuncture and Qigong.He learned from Chinese famous acupuncturist Mr.Dan-an Cheng,the founder of the Chengjiang Acupuncture School.Mr.Chen,as a leading figure in the development of modern acupuncture in Fujian province,practiced medicine for nearly 60 years,and saved countless lives,which made him renowned at home and abroad.To study the clinical features of Mr.Chen’s acupuncture,pass on and develop his valuable academic experience better,this subject sorted out the papers,works and clinical medical records relevant to Mr.Chen and made a detailed discussion from four parts:the successful experience research of Mr.CHEN Ying-long;the academic thought research of Mr.CHEN Ying-long;the clinical characteristics of selecting acupoints of Mr.CHEN Ying-long;the clinical experience research of treating mania,lupus erythematosus,deaf and other difficult diseases.The study found that he studied TCM,acupuncture and Qigong all his life,in succession Mr.Dan-an Cheng’s relevant academic experience,finally formed his own unique clinical characteristics,mainly in five aspects:1.Combining acupuncture and Qigong,attaching attention to finger force,needling with Qi;2.The use of "meridian reinforcing and reducing technique;3.Paying attention to moxibustion,often comprehensive treatment with acupuncture,Qigong and medicine;4.Treating spirit for first and Doctor-patient corresponding;5.Doing well in treating mania,lupus erythematosus,deaf and other difficult diseases.In acupoints selection,Mr CHEN stressed scriptures as the basis and less acupoints;stressed meridians and selecting acupuncture points based on syndrome differentiation;stressed regulating chronic diseases with taking turns to use several group of acupoints.Mr.CHEN Ying-long loved medicine and learnt hard.His scholarly and Noble medical ethics are worth learning.
