Purpose:To evaluate the clinical effect of acupuncture in treating acquired paralytic strabismus.Methods:From M ar c h 2017 to Ja n uar y 2018,60 cases of acquired paralytic strabismus in hospitalized patients and outpatients were randomly divided into acupuncture group of 30 cases,30 cases in the control group.The control group using500mg Xueshuantong Injection plus liquid intravenous infusion,mouse nerve growth factor injection 18 g intramuscular injection,1 times a day.The acupuncture group with acupuncture method combined with Xueshuantong injection,rat nerve growth factor therapy 1 times a day,15 days for a course,three courses were observed before and after treatment were observed.The changes of strabismus,eye movement,diplopia and TCM syndromes were observed before and after treatment.Results:The mean strabismus decreased 13.20±7.88~△in acupuncture group and9.27±8.61~△in control group after treatment.The improvement of strabismus in acupuncture group was better than that in control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of acupuncture group in improving ocular movement disorder is 93.33,which is superior to that of control group.The effective rate of acupuncture group was93.33 and the effective rate of control group was 70.00.The total curative effect of acupuncture group was better than that of control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of acupuncture group was 86.67 and that of control group was 76.67.The curative effect of TCM syndrome in the acupuncture group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture is effective in treating acquired paralytic strabismus.
