Objective:A retrospective analysis of the breast cancer hormonal receptor data(multicenter in West China)was conducted to explore the distribution of hormone receptors status in breast cancer in West China and the relationship with the age and the changes over the years. To systematically understand the age of onset of breast cancer and the expression of hormone receptor in west China. In order to establish the database of breast cancer hormone receptor in Chinese West population. Methods:We Collected and screened clinical information from 9868 breast cancer patients(verified by postoperative pathology)in West China breast cancer follow-up system, from January 2005 to December 2011.Microsoft Excel and SAS 9.1 statistical analysis software were used for data collection and statistical analysis.Chi-square tests,Cochran-Armitage trend test and correlation test were applied for statistical analysis. Results:There were 9,868 cases, aged 19 to 94 years with a median age of 48 years. The age of onset distribution is bimodal.ER is not the same in the positive rate of different ages(P<0.0001).The constituent radio of ER positive breast cancer is increasing year by year(p=0.0004).The expression status of ER and PR was significantly positively correlated(r=0.647,P<0.0001).Conclusion:This study shows the unique distribution characteristics of breast cancer hormone receptors status and age of onset in Western china. It will provide reference and basis for the study of epidemiology, clinical pathology, endocrine therapy and prognosis evaluation of breast cancer.
