Objective: To investigate the relationship between the expression of progesterone receptor(PR)in estrogen receptor(ER)positive invasive breast cancer patients with clinical features and pathological features and prognosis. Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on 494 patients with ER-positive invasive breast cancer who were admitted to our hospital from December 2012 to December 2013.They were divided into positive expression group and negative expression group according to PR expression status. The clinicopathological features of the two groups were compared and the overall survival(OS)and disease-free survival(DFS)were compared by Kaplan-Meier method. The prognostic factors were analyzed by COX regression model. Results: A total of 129 patients with low PR expression in invasive breast cancer patients, the 5-year OS of this group was 87.8%,the 5-year OS rate was 94.6% in patients with high PR expression. The data were statistically significant(P<0.05);the 5-year DFS was 81.6% and 89.8%,respectively,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Univariate analysis showed that the main factors affecting OS in patients showed age, axillary lymph node metastasis, menstrual status, clinical stage,PR expression status, tumor diameter(P<0.05),breast surgery, tumor diameter, lymph node metastasis, pulse Tumor thrombosis, clinical stage and PR expression status were the main factors affecting DFS(P<0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that the independent risk factors for DFS and OS in invasive breast cancer patients were axillary lymph node metastasis,PR expression and tumor diameter(P<0.05).Conclusion: The expression of PR in invasive breast cancer patients may be related to the prognosis of patients. It can be used as one of the clinical reference indicators to judge whether the prognosis of patients is good. |
