Objective: 1.To understand the quality of life of elderly women with urinary incontinence and to explore the influencing factors.2.Evaluate the suitability of pelvic floor muscle training techniques in the community. Methods: 1.Adopt a convenient sampling method to select 100 elderly patients with urinary incontinence from June 2017 to August 2017 in the Wenquan Street Community,Dongjie Street Community, and retirement institutions in Fuzhou with a view to understand the quality of life in the elderly women with urinary incontinence and analyse its influencing factors.2.Randomized controlled trials were designed, and 64 elderly patients with stress urinary incontinence from the Wenquan Street Community,Dongjie Street Community, and retirement institutions were randomly divided into the intervention group and control group, with 32 cases in each group. The intervention group was given the community behavior intervention program for stress urinary incontinence, and the control group was treated with routine health education. The frequency of leaked ur ine, stress urinary incontinence questionnaire and quality of life questionnaire on urinary incontinence were used to compare the differences of the subjects before and after intervention, and also the effects of behavior intervention programs for stress urinary incontinence were evaluated. Results: 1.The overall standard of quality of life for elderly incontinent patients was 87.1±13.9 points.Three-dimensional scoring from low to high were restrictive behavior, social activity restriction and psychological influence.Univariate analysis showed that marital status, monthly income status, frequency of urinary leakage, type of urinary incontinence, and severity of urinary incontinence were the factors which could influence the quality of life of elderly women with urinary incontinence. Also, multiple regression linear analysis showed that the type of urinary incontinence and the severity of urinary incontinence were the influencing factors for quality of life in elderly women with urinary incontinence.2.Effectiveness: 1 Repeated measures analysis of variance showed that there was interaction between frequency of leakage of urine in the two groups;further analysis showed that at the 2nd and 3rd month after intervention, the frequency of leakage frequency in the intervention group was lower than that of in the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2 Repeated measures analysis of variance showed that there were interactions among the total scores of life quality, restrictive behavior, psychological effects, and social impairment scores in both groups;further analysis showed that at the 2nd and 3rd months after the intervention, the scores of quality of life and scores of all dimensions in the intervention group were higher than those of in the control group(P<0.05).3 Repeated measures analysis of variance showed that there were interactions among the stress urinary incontinence knowledge, daily life management knowledge, and pelvic floor muscle exercise knowledge and total scores in the two groups;further analysis showed that at the first, second and third months after the intervention, the knowledge scores and scores of all dimensions in the intervention group were higher than those of in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Safety: Two people reported minor adverse reactions at the end of the pelvic floor training.4.Maneuverability:(1)Compliance with home instruction and telephone consultation: For house guidance,82.1% of patients completed 11-12 home visit instructions,7.1% completed 9-10 times, and the remaining 7.1% and 3.7% completed 7-8 times and ?6 times respectively;in the telephone consultation,89.3% of patients completed 11-12 telephone inquiries,10.7% of patients completed 9-10 telephone inquiries;(2)compliance with pelvic floor muscle training: In the first, second and third month of the intervention,53.6%,64.3%,and 67.9% of the patients had better training compliance;(3)satisfaction of the intervention effect: 53.6% of patients are very satisfied,35.7% are satisfied and 10.7% are not satisfied;(4)trust in training: 60.7% of patients believe that this training is very trustful, and 39.3% of patients said they trust the technology.5.the degree of participation: For pelvic floor muscle training techniques,53.6% of patients are very willing to accept,39.3% are willing to accept, and 7.1% of patients are reluctant to accept. Conclusions: 1.Marital status, monthly income status, frequency of urinary leakage, type of urinary incontinence, and severity of urinary incontinence were all the factors that could influence the quality of life of elderly women with urinary incontinence. After excluding confounding factors, the type of urinary incontinence and the severity of urinary incontinence are the independent contributing factors.2.The application of pelvic floor muscle training technology is highly feasible and has the advantages of safety, effectiveness, economy, strong operability and high degree of participation.Hence,it is suitable for community promotion and application.
