Purpose:The study which using randomized controlled trials clinical methods, compared method of acupuncture combined with ginger moxibustion with conventional western medicine Loratadine Tablets in improving the effect of nasal symptoms and quality of life differences. We investigated the differences in the clinical efficacy of the two methods in the short-term effects,to provide better treatment for the disease.Method:According to the randomized controlled trials, the patients who are suffering from allergic rhinitis with deficiency of lung qi and spleen qi are divided into two groups. There are 30 cases in each group.the treatment group were treated by acupuncture combined with ginger moxibustion therapy, the control group were treated with conventional western medicine treatment of Loratadine tablets. It takes about 27 days to complete treatment. The study on the evaluation of patients before one week and the end of treatment, the main evaluation content of patients with nasal symptoms, signs, symptoms and RQLQ.Recording, analyzing and statisticing all datas,we make the final conclusion. In order to compare the effect of acupuncture combined with ginger moxibustion and Loratadine tablets on efficacy and quality of life of patients.Result:1.Before treatment, the baseline of the two groups are comparable.2.Two groups’ nasal symptoms scores and total scores decreased significantly than before receiving the treatment(P<0.05).there was no statistical difference between two groups after treatment(P>0.05).two methods for the treatment of rhinitis symptoms are effective.3.There was no statistical difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05)in nasal sign, which indicated that two methods to improve nasal symptoms is not obvious in a short period of time.4.There were statistical differences after treatment of tCM syndrome in treatment group;the control group showed no statistical differencee(P>0.05),which indicated that Loratadine tablets to improve the tCM symptoms is not obvious;also between two groups, the treatment group is better than the control group(P<0.05).5.RQLQ score evaluation: there were statistical differences in RQLQ scores between two groups and with in each group after treatment(P<0.05).6.The overall curative effect evaluation: the effective rate of treatment group was 90%;the control group was 83.3%,there were statistical differences between them.Comparing the security between two groups, the probability of side-effect was higher in control group than treatment group. While in compliance, two groups were good.Conclusion:1.Effect of acupuncture combined with Ginger Moxibustion and Loratadine tabletsin in treatment of nasal symptoms was similar. However the effect of two treatment methods to improve nasal symptoms is not obvious in a short period of time.In the improvement of tCM syndrome integral,RQLQ integral and total score, acupuncture combined with ginger moxibustion was better than loratadine group.2.Generally speaking, from the point view of security, compliance and clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared, the method of acupuncture combined with ginger moxibustion has more clinical value.
