The Clinical Study On Treating Hypertensive Renal Injury Using Bushen Huoxue Huatan Decoction

Objection:In this study,patients with hypertensive kidney injury(CKD stages2-4)were studied.The patients were treated with basic western medicine combined with Bushen Huoxue Huatan decoction.The clinical symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),serum creatinine,24 hours urine protein quantitative,urine β2 microglobulin,microalbuminuria were measured.To observe the curative effect of Bushen Huoxue Huatan decoction in treating hypertensive kidney injury(CKD stages2-4),and to provide the basis for further improving and popularizing the formula.Method:Sixty patients with hypertensive kidney injury(CKD stages2-4)were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group.The control group was treated with basic western medicine,the treatment group was treated with western medicine and Bushen Huoxue Huatan decoction.The course of treatment was 8 weeks.The changes of clinical symptoms of TCM and laboratory examination(serum creatinine,24 hours urine protein quantity,urine β2 microglobulin,microalbuminuria)were observed before and after treatment,and the TCM symptoms were quantitatively scored.Comprehensive evaluation of its efficacy.Results:After treatment with Bushen Huoxue Huatan decoction,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.67% and the total effective rate of the control group was 63.33%.The treatment group was obviously superior to the control group and the two groups had significant difference(P<0.01).The treatment group was obviously better than the control group in improving TCM symptom score(P<0.01).Compared with the two groups in laboratory examination,the treatment group had significant difference in reducing 24 hour urinary protein quantity,urine β 2 microglobulin and microalbuminuria(P<0.01),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in reducing the Urine protein and protecting the renal function.Conclusion:Bushen Huoxue Huatan decoction combined with western medicine in the treatment of hypertensive kidney injury(CKD stages2-4)can obviously improve the symptoms of waist and knee weakness,burnout and fatigue,spitting and salivation,sticky in the mouth,more nocturnal urine,frequent nocturnal urination,chest tightness,dizziness,and so on.It can reduce urinary protein excretion and protect renal function.It shows the advantages of combination of Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of hypertensive renal injury.
