Objective:To explore the clinical significance of neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio(NLR)and platelet to lymphocyte rate(PLR)in predicting preterm birth, and provide a reference for early diagnosis and early pregnancy..Methods:112 premature patients who were admitted to our hospital from December 1,2016 to December 31,2018 were selected as the experimental group, and the experimental components were premature rupture of membranes(n=54)and intact membranes(n=58).At the same time, the normal pregnant women who were diagnosed in the outpatient clinic at the same time as the gestational age were selected as the control group(n=65).The blood routine indexes of each group were detected:including neutrophil(NEU),lymphocyte(LYM)and platelet(PLT)counts, and NLR values and PLR values were calculated. The NLR values and PLR values of each group were compared and analyzed.Results:1.The number of weeks of delivery and times of pregnancy in pretenn delivery group were lower than those in normal group, and the number of weeks of delivery in intact membranes in prete-rm delivery group was higher than that in premature rupture of membranes group, the difference was statistically significant.2.The NLR and PLR levels in the preterm group were higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant. The NLR and PLR levels in the premature rupture of membra-nes in the preterm group were higher than those in the intact group, and the difference was statistically significant3.The NLR of the preterm group 2 was higher than that of the preterm group 1 combined with the preterm group. That is,with the increase of the number of weeks of pregnancy, the NLR of premature patients showed a trend of increasing first and then decreasing, and the difference was statistically significant.4.NLR in maternal peripheral blood was positively correlated with PLR,but negatively correlated with age of delivery, times of pregnancy, times of abortion and weeks of pregnancy.PLR was negt-ively correlated with the age of delivery, and negatively correlated with the number of pregnancies, abortions and gestational weeks. The gestational age was negatively correlated with NLR and PLR.5.The area under ROC curve of NLR diagnosis was 0.651,with statistical significance(P<0,05),indicating that NLR has diagnostic significance for PTB.Its sensitivity, specificity and threshold value were 0.393,0.864 and 6.24;The area under ROC curve of PLR diagnosis was 0.619,with statistical significance(P<0.05),indicating that PLR has diagnostic significance for PTB.Its sensitivity, specificity and threshold value were 0.330,0.879 and 160.62.Conclusion:NLR and PLR can predict the occurrence of preterm labor. The incidence of preterm labor increases with the increase of NLR and PLR.NLR and PLR can be used as new cheap and convenient reference indicators for predicting preterm delivery.
