Objective: To investigate whether serum anti-mülerian hormone(AMH)levels are related to pregnancy outcomes after in vitro fertilization(IVF)/intracytoplasmic sperm injection(ICSI)and embryo transfer,in order to provide a theoretical basis for predicting pregnancy outcomes in IVF/ICSI-ET patients, and further provide directions for improving pregnancy outcome. Methods: Regression analysis was performed on infertile patients undergoing IVF/ ICSI-ET in Reproductive Medicine Department of the second hospital of Hebei Medical University from January 2016 to April 2018(3208 COS cycles),and they were divided into low age group(<30 years,n=1409),middle age group(30-35 years,n=1142)and elder group(> 35 years,n=657)according to age.In each age group, the serum AMH level was further divided into low AMH group(1.1 ng/ml),medium AMH group(1.11-3.67ng/ ml)and high AMH group(3.68ng/ml)to compare the clinical data and pregnancy outcomes between different AMH subgroups. Results: In the three groups, the number of oocytes obtained and the number of embryos both increase with the increasing of AMH level(P < 0.05).Spearman correlation analysis shows that AMH level in three age groups is positively correlated with the number of oocytes obtained and the number of embryos.Logistic regression shows that age is an independent risk factor for clinical pregnancy(OR=0.956,P<0.0001),The number of embryos and serum AMH were also independently related to clinical pregnancy(OR=1.163,P=0.001 and OR=1.061,P=0.007).Serum AMH level do not independently related to the early pregnancy loss, but age is(OR=1.092,P < 0.0001).Conclusions:1.Serum AMH can predict the number of obtained oocytes and the number of embryos.2.Serum AMH and number of embryos are independently related to clinical pregnancy, and age is independent risk factor of clinical pregnancy. However, these three factors have some value for predicting clinical pregnancy.3.There is no significant correlation between serum AMH and early pregnancy loss, while age is independently related to early pregnancy loss.
