| Project Schedule management of medical device is more and more important based on the current status of medical requirement,the current status of Chinese medical device enterprise,and the requirement of CFDA and ISO13485.The Critical Chain Project Management(CCPM)is a new Project process management method along its long history which is based on the Theory of Constraints(TOC),and the advantage is more and more obvious.This thesis using the New Product Design Project of medical device named “Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter(PICC)Kits” of Company A as a sample,comparing the Critical Path Management(CPM)and the CCPM to figure out which one is more suitable for the New Medical Device Product Design in China.It shows the weak points of CPM which caused by the all kinds of Constraints.The CCPM defined the project plan considering the constraints;in addition,it combined the buffer management to make the constraints effections are in control.The project process management is focus on the buffer area management.The success project process management use “PICC Kits” project as the sample.At the beginning,it used CPM to manage the project schedule,but the project was delayed because the constraint of the human resource and construction conditions of the supplier.Company A considering the constraint theory,tries to use the CCPM to manage the PICC Kits project schedule,and the project finally meet the timeline as the plan.It shows the advantage of CCPM in new medical device design project in China,and it can be a new method in this area for the current status of Chinese medical device Manufactory Company with some resource constrains. |
