Clinical Observation Of Taohong Yubi Decoction Combined With Scorpion Ointment Moving Cupping In The Treatment Of Plaque Psoriasis

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Taohong Yubi Decoction combined with Scorpion Ointment moving cupping in the treatment of plaque psoriasis(blood stasis syndrome).Methods:This study selected 108 patients with plaque psoriasis(blood stasis syndrome)who were admitted to the dermatology clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to January 2023 and met the inclusion criteria.According to the principle of simple sorting,they were randomly divided into treatment group1(taking Taohong Yubi Decoction orally combined with Scorpion Ointment moving cupping),treatment group 2(taking Taohong Yubi Decoction orally alone)and control group(taking Dahuang Zhechong Capsule orally alone),36 cases in each group.Observed and recorded the area and severity of skin lesions,Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)symptoms and quality of life before treatment,4 weeks after treatment and 8 weeks after treatment.At the end of the 8th week of treatment,the clinical efficacy was determined according to the efficacy index,and the safety of the treatment regimen was comprehensively evaluated in combination with the adverse reactions and safety indicators during the treatment.Results:1.During clinical observation,a total of 7 patients were lost and removed,and a total of 101 patients were finally involved in the data analysis,33 in the treatment group 1,33 in the treatment group 2,and 35 in the control group.2.The psoriasis area and severity index(PASI)score,TCM symptom score and psoriasis quality of life scale(PQOLS)score of the three groups of patients before treatment were compared with those after 4 weeks and 8 weeks of treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After8 weeks of treatment,the above three scores of the three groups were compared in pairs,the two treatment groups were better than the control group,and the treatment group 1 was better than the treatment group 2.The clinical efficacy was determined by the decrease of PASI score at the end of 8weeks of treatment.The total effective rates of treatment group 1,treatment group 2 and control group were 87.88 %,78.79 % and 62.86 %,respectively.The difference between the three groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the curative effect in the two treatment groups was better than that in the control group,and the treatment group 1 was better than the treatment group2.3.During the clinical observation period,there were no abnormalities in the safety indicators of the three groups of patients.One patient had deep cupping marks and mild pain after cupping.Three patients had gastric discomfort after taking decoction orally with empty stomach,including one with mild diarrhea.The above symptoms were gradually relieved after timely intervention,which did not affect the follow-up treatment observation.Conclusion:1.Taohong Yubi Decoction combined with Scorpion Ointment moving cupping can efficiently improve the symptoms and signs of patients with plaque psoriasis(blood stasis syndrome),and the curative effect is better than that of oral Taohong Yubi Decoction alone and Dahuang Zhechong Capsule alone.2.Taohong Yubi Decoction combined with Scorpion Ointment moving cupping is a safe and effective method for the treatment of plaque psoriasis(blood stasis syndrome).
