| ObjectiveUnderstand the level of hope, depression, anxiety, and coping style in patients with deep Ⅱ to Ⅲ burns;analyze the impact of demographic variables and burn-related characteristics on hope level, depression, anxiety, and coping style in patients with deep Ⅱ to Ⅲ burns;Analyze the correlation between the hope level of patients with deep Ⅱ to Ⅲ burns and depression, anxiety and coping styles;propose countermeasures and suggestions to improve the hope level of patients with deep Ⅱ to Ⅲ degree burns.MethodsIn this study, the convenience sampling method was used to select patients with deep Ⅱ to Ⅲ degree burns that met the inclusion criteria in the burn and plastic surgery department of a third-class A hospital in Kaifeng City.Research tools include general information questionnaire,Chinese version of Herth Hope Index(HHI),Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS),Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire.A total of 160 questionnaires were distributed and 150 were recovered.Invalid questionnaires were excluded during entry. There were 148 valid questionnaires and the effective recovery rate was 92.5%.The data was analyzed by SPSS22.0 statistical software, and the basic situation of burn patients was descriptive statistics using percentage, frequency, mean ± standard deviation, etc.;the factors affecting burn patients were analyzed by independent sample t test and single factor analysis of variance, and Multivariate linear regression analysis was used to further analyze the statistically significant single factors for multivariate analysis, and the correlation between the hope level of burn patients and depression, anxiety, and coping styles was analyzed using the Pearson correlation method.Results1.The total score of the hope level of burn patients in this survey is(31.5 ± 6.46)points,and the average score of each dimension: positive attitude towards reality and future(9.38 ± 3.03),positive action taken(10.45 ± 3.38),and others Close relationship(11.67 ± 2.62).2.The average depression of burn patients in this survey was(64.31 ± 2.35),which was moderate anxiety;the average depression score was(65.12 ± 3.64),which was moderate depression.3.In the coping style of burn patients, the average score for coping was(18.97 ± 2.10)points,theaverage score for avoiding coping was(14.55 ± 1.62)points,and the average score for yielding coping was(9.11 ± 1.52)points.4.Different age, occupation, burn factors, burn site, burn depth, burn area, the hope level difference was statistically significant(P <0.05);other related factors were not statistically significant(P> 0.05)5.Multiple linear regression analysis of the hope level of burn patients:The main factors that affect the hope level of burn patients are education level, burn location, burn depth, burn area, depression, anxiety, and coping styles.Among them, the depth of burns, the area of burns, depression, anxiety, avoidance coping, yielding coping, etc.are the negative influencing factors of the hope level, and the education level, burn site and face coping are the positive influence factors of the hope level.A total of 43.5% of the variance was explained(P <0.05)Conclusions1.Patients with deep Ⅱ to Ⅲ burns have lower levels of hope. The factors that affect the hope level of burn patients include education level, burn site, burn depth, burn area, depression, anxiety, and coping styles.2.Depression levels of patients with deep Ⅱ to Ⅲ burns are at moderate levels of depression, and the influencing factors are marriage, education, burn site, and burn area;anxiety levels are at moderate levels of anxiety, and their affecting factors are gender and education,Payment form, burn area, burn area,etc.3.Compared with domestic norms, the coping styles of patients with deep second-degree to third-degree burns are almost the same in terms of avoiding coping, relatively lower in coping, and higher in yielding coping.Factors that affect coping styles include age, form of payment, burn site, burn depth, burn area,etc.4.Depression,anxiety,and avoidance and yielding coping styles were significantly negatively correlated with the level of hope in patients with deep second to third degree burns, and "face coping" was significantly positively correlated with the level of hope... |
