ObjectiveTo investigate the depression level, hope level and coping style of stroke patients, and analyze the correlation between depression level, hope level and coping style of patients with stroke. It provides scientific basis for nursing staff to provide health education and psychological nursing for stroke patients.MethodsIn this study,487 stoke patients in the Department of Neurology of the Second Hospital of Chaoyang City form November 2019 to January 2020 were surveyed by convenience sampling method. The general information questionnaire,Hamilton Depression Scale,Herth Hope Scale and Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire were used to investigate the basic situation, depression level, hope level and coping styles of stroke patients.SPSS26.0software was used for data entry and descriptive analysis,T test, variance analysis,Pearson correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis on the data. The structural equation model was established and tested by AMOS22.0 software.Results1.Among the 487 stroke patients in this survey, the proportion of non-depression,mild depression, moderate depression and severe depression accounted for 47.0%,34.3%,13.6% and 5.1%,respectively.The proportion of patients with high, medium and low hope level was 60.2%,37.5% and2.3%,respectively.The coping style score was(15.98±5.95).Avoidance score(11.99±3.37);The yield score was(7.53±2.64)points and the total score was(35.51±8.95)points.2.There were statistically significant differences in stroke and depression scores in terms of first onset, sequela and smoking(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in the desired score in terms of education, occupation, smoking and sequela(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in gender, age and smoking(P< 0.05).The avoidance score showed statistically significant differences sequela(P< 0.05).3.The depression level of stroke patients was negatively correlated wit h the P,I,T score and the total hope score, and the difference was statisti cally significant(r=-0.427,-0.444,-0.477,-0.506,P<0.001,0.001,0.001,0.001).4.The level of depression was negatively correlated with the coping sc ore(r=-0.485,P< 0.05)and the yield score(r=-0.163,P<0.05),but there w as no significant difference between the depression level and the avoidanc e score(P>0.05).5.The level of hope was positively correlated with the face score(r=0.387,P<0.05)and with the yield score(r=0.147,P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the hope level and the avoidance score(P<0.05).6.The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that face c oping style predicted depression(β=-0.517,t=-11.647,P<0.001),face coping style predicted hope level(β=0.384,t=8.122,P<0.001),both face coping st yle and hope level predicted depression(face coping style:β=-0.378,t=-8.632,P<0.001,Hope level: β=-0.364,t=-9.161,P<0.001).7.Structural equation model results show that the direct effect of face coping style on hope level is 0.410,the direct effect of hope level on dep ression is-0.407,the direct effect of face coping style on depression is-0.318,and the indirect effect of face coping style on depression is-0.167,accounting for 34.4%(-0.167/-0.485)of the total effect.Conclusion1.Stroke patients have a higher incidence rate of depression.2.There was a negative correlation between the level of depression and the level of hope in patients with stroke, the depression level of stroke patients was negatively correlated with face coping and yielding coping, the level of hope in stroke patients is positively correlated with face coping and yielding coping responses.3.The coping style of stroke patients can not only directly affect the level of depression, but also indirectly affect the level of hope.
