A Phonetic Study Of Lianhua Shangxi Dialect

The research object of this article is Shangxi phonetic phenomena.This article has organized the compound table of initials,finals and tones;the syllabary and the homophony syllabary on the basis of actual fieldwork.It has do further research on finding the collocation of initials and finals;describing the corresponding relationship between Shangxi dialect and the Guangyun phonetic system;stating the phonology characters of Shangxi dialect.The sandhi of Shangxi dialect is very plentiful,it has divided three categories(the Compound Pattern,the Overlapping Pattern and the Adjunct Pattern)in order to elaborate the sandhi rule of the ordinary two-words group.The Compound Pattern of Shangxi dialect is especially complicated because the situation is not identical that if a solitary tone put in the front or latter of the two-words group.Finally,the literary and colloquial readings of Shangxi dialect is widely distributed.Initials,finals and tones all exist literary and colloquial readings.This article has listed 7 types literary and colloquial readings of Shangxi dialect,then summarize the rule in terms of initials,finals and tones.
