Zhuanghe dialect is in the range of Liandengpian in Jiaoliao bureaucratic language. Influenced by Jiaodong bureaucratic language that brought by Shandong migrants; the Northeast dialect and Mandarin, formed the distinctive phonetic system of Zhuanghe dialect. Meanwhile, inside the Zhuanghe dialect system, duo to the diverse regions of original immigrants, it differs widely between the coastal dialect represented by downtown Zhuanghe dialect and the northern mountains dialect represented by Buyunshan dialect.This paper mainly studies on the primary material from the fieldwork, the paper adopts statistics, description, comparison, analysis, etc. methods to do a comprehensive study and research on two phonetic systems of Downtown Zhuanghe dialect and Buyunshan dialect from the synchronic angle, it attempts to illustrate Zhuanghe dialect comprehensively and systematically.This paper mainly divides in to six parts. First part, the introduction, it introduces the predecessor research results, defines the object of study, research significance and methods, and introduces the region’s physical geography, language backdrops and the profile of the speakers. Second part, it performs the comparative analysis on the initial consonant system between Downtown Zhuanghe dialect and Buyuanshan Dialect, then summarises the characteristic of their initial consonant systems, and compares them with the Mandarin initial consonant system. Third part, it performs the comparative analysis on the vowel system between Downtown Zhuanghe dialect and Buyuanshan Dialect, then summarises the characteristic of their vowel systems, and compares them with the Mandarin vowel system. Fourth part, it performs the comparative analysis on the tone system between Downtown Zhuanghe dialect and Buyuanshan Dialect, then summarises the characteristic of their tone systems, and compares them with the Mandarin tone system. Fifth part, it describesthe combination relationships of initials and finals of Downtown Zhuanghe dialect and Buyunshan dialect respectively, summarises the differences and similarities of the combination relationships of initials and finals, and lists the commonly used characters that present the combination of initials and finals.There was not comparative study on the internal diversities of Zhuanghe dialect phonetic system before this paper. For the first time, Zhuanghe dialect is split into two parts according to the internal diversities, it not only provides the materials to fullfil Jiaoliao bureaucratic language, but also provides the corpus reference to the local dialect, at the same time, it also offers benefits in specific education measure to promote Mandarin in local area; in ontology language study; in the comparative study of linguistics; in speech recognition within the justice system and in flourishing creation of literature and art in local area, etc.The innovation of this paper lies in in-depth and meticulous research on combing and exploring two sub-dialects of Zhuanghe dialect respectively, with an emphasis on the inside consistency and difference of Zhuanghe dialect in terms of the tone, and compares analysis those two phonetic systems with Mandarin from the synchronic perspective. Therefore, comprehensively compiling, recording classifying and summering these materials has important theoretical significance and practical value for local Mandarin promotion, local literature and art creation, deepening the comparative analysis on ontology language, filling the gap in the local dialect of local chronicles construction, and passing on the local non-material cultural heritage, etc.
