A Practice Report On The Simulated Interpretation Of Time Of The Tale Of Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese Medicine,abbreviated as TCM,is the treasure of ancient Chinese science,embodying rich philosophical wisdom,healthy concepts and practical experience of Chinese nation for thousands of years.The study,communication and spread of traditional Chinese medicine culture is not only an inheritance of traditional culture,but also an effective way for Traditional Chinese Medicine to be learned toward the world,which also plays a great role in promoting the construction of the One Belt and One Road.For the interpreting practice,the interpreter selects the first episode of the series of the large-scale medical cultural documentary Time of the Tale of Chinese Medicine to make the simulated interpretation.During the practice of interpreting,the interpreter deepens his understanding of traditional medical culture,and further summarizes and studies the interpreting strategies of related traditional Chinese medicine texts.The interpreter has a keen interest about traditional Chinese culture and especially knows something about the traditional Chinese medicine culture.To choose one of this series of documentary for interpretation is also a wish of the interpreter to combine the acquired knowledge with the level of interpretation at the present stage to learn more about the origin and effect of the Chinese medicine.At the same time,the interpreter summarizes the problems and solutions during the interpretation process,which provides some interpreting strategies about the documentary and texts of Chinese medicine.The interpreting practice report is the overall description of the Tale of Chinese Medicine and the detailed introduction to the traditional Chinese medicine that appears in the first episode.Also,the total planning of the practical task of simulated interpreting is planned.The Interpretive Theory applied in this interpreting practice is introduced from four aspects: the understanding of text,the appropriate translation for source language,the re-expression of contents and the equivalence of meaning.It describes the entire process of the translation project from preparation to the interpreting and final project evaluation.Meanwhile,the significance of the interpretation theory for the entire process of interpreting and the project is discussed.It also analyzes the application of the theory which reflects the insufficiency and improvement in the interpreting process from the aspects of amplification,omission,transition and paraphrase.This report is of great significance in Interpretive Theory and the interpretation of the texts of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
