With the continuous development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,Chinese character teaching has attracted widly attention.How to make international students remember Chinese character more easily and accurately and improve the efficiency of the teaching of Chinese characters has become the focus of researchers.As a very important configuration unit of Chinese character,Chinese character component plays a role in connecting strokes and the whole character,and Chinese character component also plays an irreplaceable and important role in Chinese character teaching,.The component provides a unique entry point for the teaching of Chinese character.Through the teachingof components,it improves the efficiency of Chinese characterrecognition and memorization,provides great convenience for teaching.It also promotes the long-term development of the teaching Chinese as a foreign language and helps to overcome the problem of Chinese character teaching.The paper demonstrates the theoretical feasibility of Chinese character component teaching from four aspects:First of all,analysis the Chinese characters,including Chinese characters' characteristics,thethrees tructure of Chinesecharacter: strokes,component,whole characters;secoundly,discussimgthe definition and classification of component as well as the dismantlement method,separation principle,separation level and position relation,also discussing the two standard of omponent definition.;the third is to introduce the concept of the component teachingmethod anditsdevelopment course,the feasibility and necessity of component teaching method and the important role in Chinese character teaching;the laststartingt with the writing errors of the foreign students,summarize the types of errors,carry out the teaching design,and put forward corresponding teaching suggestions in view of the actual problems of the foreign students.That is,we should pay attention to the teaching of the individual characters,pay attention to the comparative analysis of the component,strengthen the teaching of the component as the form and the side of the phonetic side,and many interesting teaching methods should be adopted.
